hello i am located in toronto canada and for the past
4 months have been getting repeated calls from the following number.
I purchsed call display and find it strange that '1' for long distanceshows up on the local
416 number which i reside in.

These are the numbers that have been calling me repeatedly and either hanging up or fronting themselfs as
ROGERS cable, or some type of Windows/Doors company:

I have searched all these numbers and found all these phone nubmers are reportedly doing
the same thing to other people on the internet.

Research has indicated that there is some type of call center that calls people (such as us)
and once you pick up someone at their centre also picks up and trys to get some info or is
actually hired to sell a product /service. They seem to be doing  a poor job as many times
they hang up or dont speak, or get confused and just laugh then hangup.

This business/es need to be identified so that they can be stoped. I have gotten up to 6 calls a day
totalling 20-30 a week at random times of the day and evening. I've seen many posts on the internet
with people complaining and reporting online of this harassment but have yet to see anything done

Two telephone calls from 410-774-8406 requesting a Diane at extension number.  There is no Diane at the company.  Phone number and company name is correct but informed male on the phone there is no Diane.  He says it is regarding an order made by Diane and hangs up.  I tried calling this number but it is always busy.

The call was a recorded voice offering a vacation package, supposedly as a result of someone's having entered my name somewhere.  I did not press 1 or 3; I simply hung up. Recently, however, I was out for the afternoon, and when I returned I found three (3!) of these calls from this same promotion company on my answering machine.

"Page 1".
The phone number there is 416-995-4308 and ask to be removed from all affiliated companys. Or call CRTC or Bell Canada to do on your behalf.

are the calls youre getting read out by a young girl that sounds like a teenager making a prank call.. because ive been getting the exact same thing.. 1 to accept 3 to decline, from crofton maryland, but with 8014 on the end instead, its driving me nuts

I too am getting called from this above number saying I've won a trip, didn't listen to the whole message. I have an unlisted number so I don't know how they are getting my number.

Got a call from 410-774-8406 Nov 15th. My computer answers the phone so callers must speak to computer first. Caller hung up, no message. This site is great. I live in remote West Coast Canada.

Just got a call from this number 410-774-8406; caller id shows CR LOPS, have no idea who this is.  We were out when call came in so did not answer.

I never answer.....my luck one of the many collection agencys

I also just got a call from this number - same offer of a vacation package.  I'm in Canada on the west coast.

Answering machine picked up and recorded only silence on the other end.

I received 2 calls today-do not pick up unknown numbers. Researched and got same info as Melindhra. No message left after answering voice mail went on. This is an unlisted number.

I had the exact same call as Melindhra and Dee.

Caller ID said Maryland. I'm up in Canada.

I get offers of loans and cash up to $150,000!!!
There is an option to press 1 to accept the offer
 or press 3 to be removed.
This is the second time I've pressed 3 but I still get the calls.
Additionally, these calls come to my cell phone! Didn't think they were allowed to use cell numbers.

No Caller ID. Recorded message started off with describing low airfares on some well known airlines. Then stated that my name had been entered by someone in a draw and my family upto 4 people could take advantage of a low $299 airfare for all inclusive trip to Cancun Mexico and Disney.  Asked to press 1 for more details. I hung up.

Received a call that stated a family member recently flew with one of two different airlines.  The recording said that I had won an all-inclusive trip, and that I need to press 1 to accept the offer, or 3 to refuse it.

The registered service provider is MCImetro, Ats**.
