These people called a couple of times to our home in Alabama.  We have family in Maryland and thought it may have been one of them calling from a strange number, but it wasn't them.  My wife called me twice at work telling me about them calling and hanging up.  I called when I got home and got a message, "Thanks for calling" and they hung up.  The number is a Crofton, MD number and evidently another Mid-Atlantic phone scam.

Calls. Rings 2-3 times. From caller Id, is unknown name and number. Do not answer. Is rather aggravating. Hope it stops soon and gets the message, not interested.

They called, we didn't answer since it said unknown name and we didn't recognize the number. They didn't leave any message on the machine.

Have been getting calls from this number for weeks.  I answere they hang up.  This morning at 8:00 a.m. I answered they said hold, lady said donation needed for disabled police officers needed will i participate.  I said I was on the no call list, she said this was a charity and it did not have to comply with the no call list.  I demanded my name be removed from their call list.

Calls our business line three times a day.  But it is always a hang up when I answer.  Try to call back and it will not connect.  Something needs to be done about this number or scam or whatever it is.

This caller keeps calling every other week or so. Do not answer and let answering machine take care of it. Never is a message. It's aggravating and inconvenient.

I get this call all day.   On the do not call list!   And most of the time again, before 9pm when we've went to bed.  How else do you stop these number's from calling our homes?

Unwanted call. Caller knew family name. Hung up before identifying company.

Crofton, MD  This is the town I get when I back search through Spokeo and a few others. The Google map shows it as a residence or so it seems. To bad they let these idiots run rampant.

I receive calls from this number 4 or 5 times a day. No one is ever there, or else it goes to an answering machine, the bad thing is the calls come as early as 8:00 and as late as 10:00 at night. Having older parents I feel I always need to answer, just in case.

When I answered "D762" (Name) a female voice said, "Please hold for the next available operator."  I did, and after about 30 seconds, the line went dead, that is, to a steady tone.  The Federal Gov't is behind the curve on dealing with calls made to "Don't Call Numbers" as well as scams using the internet.

D762 shows up on Caller ID. No one  was there when I answered.

Most calls that are from numbers like this hang up after four rings because after that it goes to my answering machine.  If it is someone who really wants to talk to me, they can leave a note or I will pick up after I hear them talk.

this is the 12th call form this number why can't the government do something about these calls i am on the no calling list but what good does that do???????? hey mr president help out the poor  class not just the big wheels

I got a call from this number and the man identified himself as being with "Disabled Police Officers".  He asked for my husband John and I said I was John and told him to take us off his list and hung up.  My answering machine recorded the call and after I had hung up, the man said "You lying bi***".  I have to find out how to reach these ***holes as I am not putting up with that crap.

Knows my name. I didnt answer. Had answering machine say hello to make them talk
