Pure and simple.  The people involved in this operation...Katie Boling, Roddy/Rick Boling, Jake Boling, Gary Martin, Mike Hilgar, everyone named in the media are all thugs.   These companies had the look of being legit but they weren't.   Sad thing is it's a white collar crime and given all these people have been involved in other stuff  (just google Rick's name...you'll get all sorts of info on him and his past thuggery), they're career criminals.  They'll all plead to something lesser and be back scamming people again until they're shut down again.   They were wiring money offshore.   That's where it all went.   But the Feds know and will get it if they try to bring it back.   No legitimate company constantly changes their name.  They were just trying to stay one step ahead of the Feds.   Didn't work this time did it?   You may believe Gary is OK but he's just as much to blame as the rest.  What's that saying about lying down with dogs and getting up with fleas?   He knew this was a criminal operation.  But they all like to live high so they'll be back to it.  Criminals like this have no sense of right and wrong.  None of them have any actual job skills so scamming people is the only way they can do anything.  Dishonesty is their stock in trade.   But in the end...they'll get what's coming to them.  Enjoy the good times thugs...they never last.   I just pity their kids.  Gonna be hell one day when they realize what POSs their 'parents' are.   But if family is any indication, they'll just follow along in their thug parent's footsteps.   None of us will probably ever see a dime tho.  So don't try to make it like this was some innocent thing.  Everyone got screwed by these people.   Hope they get the book thrown at them and with any luck this may end up in Federal criminal court.   We can hope.

  Katie Sylver fired Jessica Nieves ( not even her real name) from customer service, and she contacted the authorities and  subsequently got them shut down. HILARIOUS!!!!!! What's even funnier is that Katie was warned about her, but chose to ignore it..... Karma's a bi***. I wonder if Katie Sylver's husband and his business partner Michael Hilgar know that they went through all that trouble to keep their business open only to have Katie screw everything up by crossing the wrong person..... How stupid can you be??? She knew ANYONE in her department knew enough to get that place shut down......

You people are clearly not correct on your knowledge of the Alleged company above, I've worked for them for many years & the owner is close with my family. They were not scamming seniors, if anything they were helping them. Yes they were targeting seniors, but who the hell else are you supposed to target for **senior alert systems** this is why our country is so pathetic, when people make too much money the FTC comes in & think they know things that they just don't.

Michael Gary Martin was a good boss and a nice person to work for. He employed 350 employees that otherwise would not have had a job.The news media is not portraying the true story. There was no scam! We told the senior citizens that they had to pay $34.95 today and they had to pay $34.95 every month if they wanted to keep the equipment.The customers did receive their coupons as we had a survey room that called customers and asked them if they liked the coupons.If any representative lied to or disrespected a senior citizen  they were fired on the spot. All of our calls were strictly monitored. The senior citizens did receive their systems.I personally believe that Gary Martin never intended for things to get out of hand-like they did. I have worked for many call centers and they all use the word "free" to create excitement however when representatives speak to the customer they are told the absolute truth.All sales have to be transferred to the confirmation office and the customer has to agree to being charged $34.95. There is no scam period!

This company just sent me a letter from Frank Crum  saying my employment was terminated voluntarliy on 12/29/13, funny part is i quit that job no call no show on nov 28 2013. I worked there for 2 weeks , long enough to catch on after told the inbound was actually outbound and saying 40 rebuttals until the customer hangs up. I never received a paycheck and they never paid for my license. I find it hard to believe they want to give me a w-2 yet never paid me.

They were shut down 1/9/14 by the FTC when they came in and investigated. It's all over the news and internet. They had court this morning at 9:30. I have no idea about our last paychecks, but we did fill out a form with our info and how much we are owed. The assets are frozen, but they are required to pay us what we owe, just don't know when that will be. They are working to reimburse the customers too. You need to file unemployment. We did not know anything about this and it's not our fault. The company name is Arcagen Inc.

I bet you all will be happy to know that the FTC shut the b*****ds down yesterday for an investigation. I walked into the confirmation/customer service office to see men in suits and devices to copy hard drives spinning. I was told that there will be a hearing in 10 days (from yesterday). There was a nice investigator who sat down with me to chat: they have enough evidence to ask the court for the company to be shut down!
