410-785-1740 is a real alarm monitoring service, it calls whenever my house alarm goes off.

Call came through 2X a minute apart at 10:10 AM. I called the number back and it is an alarm watch and I have an alarm that is monitored. The extremely polite, English-speaking young man checked and could not find any reason for the calls and did not see any calls from them on the record. He was able to check my account through the phone number called (which is my landline). He said he is not sure why I received these calls. I pay the security company called Crimpco for the monitoring, so I called them also. They told me that this is the monitoring system's legitimate phone number and I should only receive a call from this number if there is a problem. They are going to follow up on this for me. Interesting that an advertiser on this page is 123security.net for Home Security Systems monitoring.

I received 2 calls from this number. I read the previous posts that said it was an alarm monitoring company and could ask to be taken off their list. I called and was told it must have been a misdial and I am not on their list. How do you misdial the same number twice? I am very skeptical of this.

AlarmWATCH (by COPS Montoring) is a legitimate third party monitoring station for hundreds of small business alarm companies all over the country. If you receive a call from them, it is either notification that your alarm has gone off, or you are on the emergency call list for a friend/relative/business that you are related to. If you do not wish to be on a call list, simply ask them to remove your number and they will. They never do sales calls - they are a dispatching center only. Answering or not answering could mean life or death. Do not ignore their calls!

I received a call on 7/12 at 2:08am and i don't have an alarm. I don't know how/why they would have my number but this is unacceptable.

I received a call from this number at 4:17 am on 27 November 2012 and I am not a happy camper this morning. To those who have said this is an alarm company, then they need to sort themselves out because next time I will pick up the phone they will entirely regret it.

To address the messages saying they are legit - I don't have an alarm. They most certainly are
not legit!

I received a call from this number at 1:40 a.m. on August 11th. I am really interested in who this is.
This kind of phone call at this time in the morning is totally unacceptable. These people should be
put in jail.

Got a call at 1AM from this number. I read that it belongs to Alarm Watch, an alarm monitoring company in Maryland. Must have dialed the wrong number.
| Poe 2011-10-22 03:16:47 Unknown |
That is correct. My alarm battery ran low and they called--Legit!

I got a call from them and the only alarm I've got is a very large and protective doberman!

Recieved a phone call from same number at 4:41AM asking for Mario. Admittedly, was too sleepy to recall the company she said she represented. I am in Maryland.

this is really and truly an alarm company - they called me the other day when the power went out - to tell me they were receiving a "low battery" signal on my house alarm

Company also does medical alert monitoring... they are real.

Alarm Watch is a alarm monitoring company that dealers across the nation use to monitor their alarm accounts. The operators have a list of names to contact in case an alarm goes off. They are UL listed, and hold State Police permits in every state they monitor. They are about as legit as you can get. Their website is www.alarmwatchinc.com. I know this because all of my stores use them, and if an employee forgets to disarm an alarm, we and the police get the call.

We got the same! It worries me that someone tried to get information!

Caller said they were with an "Alarm Watch company" and my parents' burglar alarm was going off. What should they do?
