Very annoying Purple Heart calls. Will not remove anyone from their lists.

A perfect example of why charities (a.k.a. non-profits) should not be exempt from the DNC lists.

It was legit, from Purple Heart, I had sent an email asking if certain items were accepted as donations. I got a call back, didn't answer but they left a voice message.

I've set my phone to forward them to a live telemarketer because it amuses me.

They call anyone. It doesn't matter if your on the do not call list, non-profits are exempt.

It is green drop for the Purple Heart. The military order of the Purple Heart. You can simply go to gogreendrop.com to further your knowledge.

It's people trying to make a f****ng living!! It's their job!! They don't keep track of how many times they call a number so think alittle. Simply find the company that sells your phone number to these type of places.

Calls for the Purple Heart. Asking for clothing donation and household items. And when you pick up and say your part of the do not call list, it doesn't matter because its non profit and you need to go through the company that sells your phone number.

I use Callcentric.  It has very powerful controls to block numbers you don't want coming in.  Use entries between Call Treatments and your Phone Book to control these.

This is just another bs scam.  Even though the Caller ID says 'Purple Heart', they're NOT AT ALL associated with veterans' causes.  Proceeds will not go towards helping veterans - however, they will go towards lining the pockets of whoever the heck these people really are.    

THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I GOT A CALL FROM THESE IDIOTS, ALTHOUGH I HAVE RECEIVED NUMEROUS CALLS FROM SOME OTHERS.  I DON'T KNOW WHY THEY'D BE CALLING ME-I'M JUST GONNA IGNORE THEIR CALLS THE SAME WAY I IGNORE ALL THE REST.

I rarely answer unfamiliar numbers, and didn't answer this one. Caller ID said it was Purple Heart MD, but we no longer put donations on the curb for anybody. Too often not picked up as promised. We carry our donations to the chosen site. No message was left.

They send me unsolicited faxes.

I got a call from 410-789-7692. The caller ID reads Purple Heart which belongs to http://gd.purpleheartpickup.org/gd.donations/default.aspx.

another scam.  Caller ID says "Purple Heart" but totally bogus.  Ignore them.

They're at it again. More scuzball calls. You would think after 1000 or more calls to a number that would mean we're not going to answer these calls. But that's the mentality of the people calling.

Just another scam. I can't believe anyone would fall for this stuff.

Google search turns up Purple Heart Donor Services, which makes sense since they just sent me a plastic bag in the mail to fill up for them. Calling me late at night when I'm getting into bed does not warm me to their cause. In fact, calling me to nag me to fill up the bag I didn't ask for turns me off, too. Sorry folks, you blew it. Are they really a non-profit org? Haven't researched that.

Number might now be "reconstituted" to be for solicitations for furniture and clothing donations for veterans allegedly.

Person who called was irritating, pushy, unprofessional, and fairly illiterate.

Just the kind of unsolicited call which makes me to donate.

Phone call from foreign accent person barely speaking english said from Fedex, my wife won a Mercedes Benz fro Publishers clearing house and had to go to Walmart or KMart to claim it, when I said that makes no sense they hung up.
