(410) 844-5580 Caller ID says Baltimore MD. Calling me every day. I haven't answered yet, but call several times a day. I blocked them for now.

Called and hung up before voice mail.  I won't answer calls I don't know.

all day only received telephone call on my cell from "unknown callers" as late as this one at 20:30. Already reported all the other ones coming also from
area code: 402 and 417 and now this one from 410 eating up my minutes
Had to put them all in my: reject list.
Wonder what is going on and how do these vultures get my cell phone?

Got a call from 410-844-5580 (and many others the last couple of days).  Someone on this list suggested calling the number and selecting option 2, then 1 to have your number removed.

"The Career Institute" answering machine picked up and option 2, option 1 stated I was removed from their calling list.

We'll see.

Same sad story here, I get at least 3 calls a day from this number, 410-844-5580.

It is a robo call, if we answer in error we don't even get heavy breathing, just silence, but then they know they have a working number and we get bombarded for about a week.

I let the answering machine answer all calls.  It is a shame in this country that you can't even rely on being able to have a phone without being harrassed.

I have been receiving multiple calls from all different numbers for the past few days. None leave messages.

If you fill out ONE FORM online, they've got you...  These half a** online schools that amount to nothing.  Publishers clearing house will pass your information to EVERYBODY... I filled out one form about insurance and its been on ever since.. The Federal govt should really do something about this.. They ask you a question then in small print that last three pages, somewhere in the middle of it it says "WE MAY SHARE YOUR INFORMATION"..> THEY SELL your phone number, address and EMAIL ADDRESS to every scammer on the planet... SHAMELSS DOGS FROM HELL..

this idiots whoever they are called me at 9pm dont they ever get the message  I heard then say my name,I got so mad because they called earlier to ,picked up the phone reamed them new a***oles and let out a good loud belch still that didn t do the trick,this is getting to be very annoying hey they called me I did call them and I know of nobody in Baltimore except for the Orioles lol

I have received calls from all these numbers as well!!! I can't wait to answer the next time they call me! lol...I'm going to scream in the phone when I answer it!!! Bit@$es won't call me anymore!

A man called and told me I filled out a form online to take college classes which I did - 3 years ago. I have gotten several of these calls. They asked for me by name but the voice sounded like a recording. In other calls, if I tell them I am the person they are asking for, there is no one there. No background noise can be heard like in some boiler room scams, just dead air. This time there was hesitation but then the person did talk to me. He told me I had filled out a form for college assistance. He asked how I was this evening and I told him I was irritated because I get several calls like his a day. He told me that I should listen to him and it would only take 2 to 3 minutes. I told him that I didn't have 2 or 3 minutes of my life to waste. He started to say something and I hung up. I will try reporting the number but don't have much hope that will work as it hasn't in the past. I am no longer filling out forms for anything online.

Within the last hour, my private/unpublished cellphone number has been bombarded by numerous other Verified SPAM calls; i.e., 507-540-0434, 607-203-5527, 417-800-2303, and now 410-844-5580...sheesh! These calls are no doubt originating from the same call center/'robo caller', as its just too coincidental.

These 'leeches' called my private 'for emergency use only' cellphone number (which I have never listed anywhere?BTW) at 10:29 AM...sheesh! The fact that I've been recently receiving a lot of these types of calls from various numbers throughout the USA, has led me to believe that my cellphone provider (or a 'mole' within that organization) has no doubt added my number to a 'Verified Active Phone Number' list and then sold my number to one of their call center clients in order to circulate some additional revenue?

I religiously do not answer/have not ever answered calls from numbers not listed within my phone's 'Contact List', but instead, I add them as a Verified SPAMMER (sans ringtone) to it, so that I'll know that such 'bogus' calls are to be ignored in the future. I ignore these calls so that maybe after several rings/unanswered calls, parasites like these might hopefully and eventually drop my number from their "Let's See Who We Can Try To SCAM Today" list; however, they'll just no doubt use a different/new number the next time. Heck, I'm already up to sixteen pages of Verified SPAMMERs.

In addition, I never respond to nor return these calls, especially using the "press 1 to be removed" feature, as all types of calls like these are all just simply SCAMs and these Spammers / Spoofers / Phishers / Scammers 'don't play by the rules' anyway. Calling them back or picking-up the calls only shows them that you are in fact a 'live' number. Their only intent is to illegally ascertain your personal info for their own dubious purposes and nothing more! They?re nothing more than 'Grifters' (aka Con Artists/SCAMMERS) and should be treated as the criminals that they are!

You know these ?call center criminals?, they're the ones using the (everyday American) first name (moniker/alias) such as Andrew, Amy, Ann, Andy, Steve, Sam, Sylvia, Susan, Tom, Theresa, Mike, Mary, Bob, Bill, or whomever 'running' a 'Gift Card' Scam, the ?Home Loan Modification? SCAM, a 'phony (generic) Survey' SCAM, the usual ?Home Security? SCAM, the well-known 'Cruise Line' SCAM, the 'bogus Political Survey' SCAM, the highly illegal ?Microsoft Windows Security Specialist? SCAM, somebody claiming to have legal authority and is with some sort of attorney's office, somebody pretending to be a process server (who will never call you - BTW), etc.

BTW, for those of you who aren't already aware, the 'National Do Not Call Registry' only works for reporting legitimate businesses; therefore, reporting SCAM SPAMMERs is an utter waste of your valuable time.

I don't care who it is I just want them to stop calling I work nights and I am on call so I have to answer they call all times of the day and night how am I suppose to work when I can't sleep!!!!!!!

Someone named Kenneth gave my cell phone number as his contact info when signing up for something online.  I've had 13 wrong number solicitors in the last 2 days, including a call from this number.  If I get my hands on Kenneth........

This # among several others (and tons of emails) have been contacting me recently.  It all seemed to start after I entered my demographics for more info about possible work from home request.

Has been calling recently (says my home phone "missed call" history) called 2/4/13 at 8:37 PM (a**-hats) and has never left a message.  Caller ID says "EDU MATCH"
I assume some kind of B.S. telemarketing but I haven't picked up. I'm on the Do Not Call list and I don't give out the phone number on either paper or web forms.

Just got a call from them.  As stated above, no message left & "unknown" name.  as with Irina (Jan 13) above, I am also on the Do Not Call list (888-382-1222; site: donotcall.gov) but may not have been on it long enough to stop some tlemarketing calls.  Like other posts above have said, i do not answer calls from numbers I do not recornize.

The call came up as EDU MATCH on the CID.  Obviously a sales call or other type of garbage. So much for the DO NOT CALL list. lol

I think they're a soliciting service for college and universities. I didn't sign up for this, though. What I did sign up for was a job searching service that was bogus...
