This is not Supermedia or Verizon.  This One-Click Yellow Pages is a phone scam.  Telling them you're on the Do Not Call list will do no good.  I also informed them this was a residence, not a business.  They didn't care about that either.  They spoof many different telephone numbers from many different states.

I spoke with the Verizon Unlawful Call Center about this.  Everyone needs to report this to the FTC at 877-382-4357 and your state Attorney General's Office.  When I filed my complaints, both asked me if I was on the DNC list and if I asked One-Click to stop calling.  When they asked for the phone number, I told them about the number spoofing. It's really important to impress upon them that this is a phone scam, not just a telemarketer violating the DNC list.

Here's my last conversation with them (paraphrased).  They haven't called me since, so this may be a way to get the calls to stop.  It's only been 2 days, so I can't say for sure.  But they were previously calling several times a day, so no calls for 2 days is a good sign.

Agent:  This is [name] from One-Click Yellow Pages.  I'm calling to confirm your business information for our annual update.

Me:  I've never heard of your company.  Do you have a website where I can read about your company?

Agent:  Yes we do.  Let me transfer you to a supervisor.

Super:  This is [name].  How can I help you?

Me:  I haven't heard of your company and wanted to know if you have a website I can look at?

Super:  Yes we do.  You'll get that in the mail with the information packet we're going to send you.  Are you the owner of this business?

Me:  Yes.

Super:  Is your address [some bogus address in CA even though I live in NJ]?

Me: No that is not correct.

Super:  Can you give me the correct address?

Me:  No, I cannot give you that information unless you give me a website so I can look up who you are.

At which point she hung up on me.  They haven't called since.  This is NOT a legitimate company.  If you're still getting calls, you can give this a try to get them to stop.  You could up the ante on this conversation by saying you're at your computer and could look them up right now if they give you their website.

But everyone please file complaints with the FTC and your state Attorney General's Office.

I had an issue with these people 3 years ago where they called and asked the name of the person with whom they were speaking. My employee gave them his name and in about two months I began getting bills for a company listing in online yellow pages. I disputed the bill but because they had the name of an employee and the time and day they called, they continued to send billings. After a 6 month long letter campaign with this company insisting I did not authorize this listing and I am the only person in the corporation with authorization, I thought they went away as I heard nothing from them for nearly a year. Then I began receiving threatening letters from a collection agency. Only after advising them both in writing that any further contact by either of them would prompt me to file a companint with the states attorney general.
My advise. do not answer one question and advice your employees to promptly hang up on them when receiving their calls. Unless, of course, you have a lot of time and an enormous amount of fight in you.

I just spoke with SuperMedia. They claim that they do not do business this way and that Max lied. I have to believe that it is true.

I am registered with the National "Do not call" list and I reported the number on there. I suggest that you do the same.

More digging turns out SuperMedia LLC, which apparently pays the Indian call center to sell superpages.com service to you is in fact contracted by VERIZON!!! Their phone number and location are the same 972-453-7000 - google it!
Call Verizon at 800-483-7988 extension 3 and ask them to stop the calls from India.
Better yet, make a report with the FCC (http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm)!

Caller said "Hi, this is Max from one click online yellow pages," however, upon questioning admitted that he is from superpages.com, calling from a call center in India, and Max is not his real name. He was unable/unwilling to provide contact information for owners of the business. Call was from a spoofed number so useless to report to the FCC. The other numbers they spoofed in the past couple of weeks were:
307-274-3899, 609-386-0581, 406-224-9787, 909-824-7612, 718-225-1098, 609-877-3740, 607-785-8621, 518-884-0554.
They will not take no for an answer and will not stop calling even after yelling at them repeatedly.
Their website is registered to:

     SuperMedia LLC
     Idearc Media LLC
     2200 W. Airfield Drive, MC29 P.O. Box 619810
     DFW Airport, TX 75261

     Email: ******************@supermedia.com

I hope they rot in jail forever and ever.
