I continuously receive calls from this number from a telemarketer named "Paul".  He's very rude and condescending.  The first time I answered and said I wasn't interested in switching to Verizon he said why do you have a money tree in your yard? the second time I answered and said I wasn't interested he said how do you know youre not interested I haven't told you anything yet...

Caller said his name was JOHN... wanted to schedule delivery of a Medical Alert System as advertised on TV as the "I've Fallen and can't get up" system. I told him to remove me from their list and hung up the phone. I knew I shouldn't have answered that call... I normally google the number first to see what comes up.

VERIZON CALLER ID. DISPLAY SHOWS VERIZON WAS THE CALLER. NO MESSAGE.

Ugh. I already pay TOO MUCH for your service. You've raised your rates when you said you wouldn't! Now you are going to raise them again! NO, I don't want to give you any more money! Go away!

Yup, sales call from Verizon. I already have a 2 year contract with them. What the hell do they want now. Blood???  I just dont answer any more and they hang up. that's all.

If you are getting numerous calls here is an idea to also try: Say "This is Lt. whomever with homocide and they have just called an active crime scene. Then commence to question the caller with all kinds of investigative questions.

Of course if you don't want to do that then get yourself an air horn and blast it into the phone when someone answers.....

Unfortunately since you have a business relationship with Verizon they are exempt from the Do Not Call list as far as your number is concerned. It sucks but what can you do.

Got a call from this number.  Asked for my wife, who is listed on the bill.  Said she wasn't in, asked to take a message.  Said there was no personal message and asked when a good time to call back was.  I asked if she was calling to sell something.  She said she was calling about "the Verizon service" but stated that she couldn't "give out personal information."  (Sounds like rubbish to me.)  I hung up.

I get calls from this number, ID lists VERIZON and they never leave a message. My answering machine states that I do not accept phone solicitations and that they're required to place my number on their do not call list. Most companies do not call back but this one does. I have filed the number with the FCC for repeated calls.

Getting several calls from this number per week.  I'll tell them I'm not interested, and it doesn't seem to work.  Looking for the means to block this number,

I wish they would just stop calling.  I don't want to upgrade my package!!  If I want to add something on, I will call them!  They are now blocked on the digitone caller id thingy, so the next time they call, it will hang up.  Seriously thinking of filing a complaint with Verizon.  This is stupid!!

When it's from Verizon, the CallerID says Verizon. Otherwise I'll believe it's a spoofed number.

This number is constantly attempting to call us, now up to several times per day.  Our Call Block stops them, but still we have to put up with at least the first ring and this aggravates us.  I can not believe that any legitimate caller would abuse their customers this way.  It has to be an auto-dialer used by some sort of scammer or other crook.

Just received a call from them earlier and it stated on the CallerID that it was Verizon, and even the lady that I spoke to said it was Verizon.  If they are impersonating the company, shouldn't Verizon be notified about this?

Tell them to hold on, that you are on the other line, on your cell- with Comcast, upgrading your bundle package for Internet and phone. Tell them hold on, and then just put the phone down and go about your business.

There is no way a salesman is going to hang up and not wait and wait- thinking you are on the other line ordering the very thing he is trying to sell you.

Receive a call from Verizon 410-910-0621 everyday. Have told them over and over not interested.

Recipe for Telemarketer Soup-

a) One- telemarketer, (preferably live)
b) Twenty pounds- potato's
c) Five pounds- carrots
d) Three pounds- onions
e) Two ounces- celery powder

Bring to full rolling boil, toss in vegetables whole.  Add celery powder and slowly lower in the telemarketer, feet first.  (Disregard any pleading or begging.)  Cook covered for approximately three hours, maintaining liquid level. This will serve a small Primitive Village.

This person calls at least 5 to 6 times a day.  Does not leave any message, I called Verizon Business Office and of course you get on hold since everyone is so busy in that office.  Waited almost 30 minutes and just hung up.  This person called again this evening and I answered and said do not call this number any more -- it is a private number and hung up.  Sorry I do not own a whistle.  My caller ID lists Verizon and then the phone number.  They will keep calling.  Hope we can get rid of this.  I am thinking seriously of giving up the Verizon telephone.

Just got called from this number. My caller ID did say Verizon, asked for my husband. Asked if this was a sales call and she said yes. Told her he was on a conference call and couldn't talk to him and then I hung up.  It surprises me that they us since our internet, cable and home phone is with them. What else is there to get from them?

Came up on Caller ID as Verizon. The woman tells me the call is recorded without stating what she wants.  I also am on the National Do Not Call List.  Shame on you, Verizon!!!
