i got a nasty call from them last night

yeah i got a call last night, and he hung up on me, and rudely interrupted me and i called back and they answered and i told them i contacted cash advance and he hung up on me again, lol

This J***off From hector Law just called me. I owe a payday loan.. b***s***!!  When you call back he doesnt answer. Same thing as everyone else.. middle eastern guy.  so annoying. Do I need to report this to my bank??

Have received several calls but when I answer they hang up, when I don't answer they never leave a message. I am in California and they have called me several times at around 5 a.m. my time. I called them back and got a message machine. Told them to stop calling...the calls continue...don't know what to do!! Please help!!

410-988-7408 called me today on my cell. I missed the call and by the sounds of it, I'm glad I did. I wish there was some way we could report them about scamming people. This just is not right. At least now I have information about them so if they call back, I will be ready! Thanks

Over a week recieving calls from this # and other similar #'s multiple times day.  Very annoying.  I never answer and they never leave a msg.

Don't even bother answering if this number calls you - it's a scam.

This # called me threatened to take me to court. I tried to call back no answer, and it said Hectors law firm. How these people get away with this more than once is beyond me. Can I get some help to take these people down? I see that they are allowed to continue, where is the justice? Well I am not going to take it, I hope I can get the backing to take these creeps down.

I received a phone call from 410-988-7408-no voicemail.  When I called the number back, the voicemail recording says that it is for Hector's Law Offices.  After reading the posts, I am sure that this is completely bogus and a waste of effort.  Just ignore the call....

The guy calling (whom I could hardly understand) said I owed $94 on a loan I had taken out from Cash Advance and he was calling from Hector and Assoc. Law Firm.  He gave me the number to the "office" which was 775-410-1818, which is not a law office but something to do with Magic Call or Magic Jack. He kept insisting I owed this money and wanted to know how I was going to take care of it, as he was getting more and more agitated. I have NEVER even been to Cash Advance or used any kind of Magic Jack product. Reporting to FCC and Attorney General.

guy called me this morning.  i called back because i knew this was going to be a scam.  when i called an answering machine kept picking up.  i left them a message telling them when they return my call, their call will be recorded and i am sending to the AG office.  i waited a while, they did not call back.  i called back, this Asian sounding fella answered then he said i owe some pay day loan and i asked him who, in which when he did say name i told him i had no idea about this loan.  he got angry, slammed the phone down.  i called back to ask why he slammed phone down, he slammed phone down again.  turn the tables on them. let them know you are recording their message and will be sending it to the AG office or your attorney and they will hang up.

A man with a very heavy accent, had to hear him because of the backround noise told me he was calling from a law firm because I had not paid back a cash advance loan.  Asked for me by name when I told him he was he calling the wrong person becasue I had NEVER taken a cash advance loan he humg up on me.

These people have been callling me nonstop as well.  They usually hang up as soon as I answer.  I finally talked to someone today.  Couldn't understand what his name was or who he said that he was with.   He told me that I am being sued for an unpaid payday advance.  I asked through who, he told me that he was not sure because his client has thousands of payday advance places.  Then he told me that he had proof that I took the payday advance out, I proceeded to ask him to send me copies of the proof that he had.  He told me that he is not a postman and that he was not going to send me anything.  I told him I don't owe him or anyone else anything.  He kept telling me to watch my language.  Very funny because I didn't say anything out of the way.  After arguing for a few minutes, I guess he finally got mad and told me that he would see me in court and hung up.  PLEASE anyone that receives call like these, be aware that they are SCAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!

i keep getting calls from this number and boy am i glad that i googled it. Now this number is on my blocklist. i have heard alot about how many people are trying to run these scams. They call and make all kind of ridicoulous threats. ITS ALL B S. I will not be waisting my time on this call. Thanks Everyone.

I just recieved a call from some sick Indians telling me I owe a unpaid debt and was being held on charges of Bank fraud and I can resolve this with $236.00.I told them to go @^%$ themselves and they hung up on me,dont buy into this crap its a scam.....

Just changed my number a couple weeks ago and got a recycled number from the phone company. This guy has been calling since day one. I get 2 - 3 call from him a day. Normally he leaves voicemails about taking everything I owe, suspending my license, and putting me in jail. It funny cause i am not the right person but i am tired of these calls starting at 7 am.

this 410-988-7408 number has called me several times as early as 6am he says i took out a loan and i owe him $325.00 i have never taken out any payday loan this is pure harassment and i'm do tired of this......

Just got this call today! He stated that I owed $355.00 on an outstanding loan with "Cash Advance" and when I told him that I have never taken out a loan there he said well we do have sister companys that send us these statements....I was just like well I have bank statments that prove that I never recieved this loan, and then he gave me a 2 yr old address...and started yelling at me that this is a serious matter and that i don't need to take it lightly, so I told him that ive never got a loan and that he can just take me to court then cause I will have prove I never took it out, then he threatened me that I would'nt win b/c I would have a whole group of tech's going against me....well bring it on a**hole!!! and he kept going off on me so I just told him I Dont care just take me to court BYE!! and hung up! He had a Middle-Eastern Accent and was very very Rude and a huge DumbA**!!! lol

getting calls at work from this number, I know its a scam but they constatntly keep calling. Can we have them charged for Harassment or something? heavy indian/middle eastern accent barely can understand his english. Same number from many people all saying its a scam.

This is a scam. IF this person calls you again let them know that you have reported it to the police. He will hang up right away. Also...do not agree to pay anything ask for proof of debt. If he is a real creditor..he will have no issues in providing that information.  Good luck.

I have this number calling me almost every damn day...if I do pick up, it ends call automatically without anyone there. I finally called these d****eads back and it's some fn foreign guy (who I can't understand whatsoever) I think Indian and it sounds like he says it's some sushi bar number...cause a lot of sushi bars higher Indian people...wtf? It also says to leave a message and then an automated voice says the persons inbox is full...how convenient huh? So if I could, I would find these people and ruin their lives bc they're driving me NUTS. F off you a**les! Thanks for always waking me while I'm trying to sleep...I don't get to sleep often with a 3 month old, jerk!

this guy just called me, middle eastern accent etc. when i told him to put me on the do not call list, he was talking like he wants to fight me. i told him anytime, come meet me, then told him i couldnt understand him, and to go back to his country to learn proper english before talking trash! after all, if your gonna scam somebody, you might wanna make sure they understand you first!

This number has been calling my home phone about twice a day for about 2 weeks. Every time I answer, no one responds. Now a new number has begun to call the last 2 days, 865-365-5093, and I get the same thing.

I have been receiving phone calls at work and on my cell phone with the same threats the others have been getting.  There was more than one that called yesterday for a whole straight 45 minutes tying up 4 phone lines at my place of employment.  They are verbally abusive and continue to harass anyone that answers the phone.  I am in the process of trying to bring charges against them.  We have traced most of the calls from yesterday and the phone company was able to identify the phone lines.  It was very upsetting because this is my place of employment.  Customers had called in between some of their phone calls and we did not realize it and we're hanging up on them or picked up our phone and didn't say anything.  Even the owner was frazzled and upset.  They should be sent back to where they came from, because they have no regard in how to exist with citizens of the United States.  They only understand one way to survive by bullying, threatening, and violent behavior.  Shows their intelligence level is zero.  They come to our country and mistake our kindess for stupidity.  They are going to find out how stupid we really are.  I will not stop until something has been done to them.  How do you like me now caller from 4109887408?

Called MagicJack to report this number - they do not want to do anything - "not my job" attitude.

Guess MagicJack wants the money but don't care about the ethics of its customers.

Or maybe MagicJack is the one responsible for this scam, supplement their income I suppose.

This is a Magic Jack # - they are too stupid if they think this setup will work.

Completely fradulent - report to your phone company and local police.
