Rings twice and hangs up. I usually get these types of calls when I post to craigslist.  Don't know if anyone else has the same problem.

This number has called my cell phone a number of times.

This number continues to call everyday on my cell phone for one ring or two.  From the above it is obvious scam or solicitation.   There is no company name.  I hope someone has reported this to a higher power to disconnect their phone line.

Calls me weekly.  Don't answer no message.

Looks like it's a call center in Bridgeville PA, but I won't call back because the number can be rerouted to other countries.I didn't realize that.

I visited one of their web sites?  Ah...no.  They called my cell and if I visited any website AND wanted to leave a phone number, it would be my home number.  I think they got my cell # from my resume, which is posted on job websites only.  Which is fine, because I have Call Control and will block their number now!!

I JUST received a call and it was the same as you are all describing.  It rang once and that was it.  I immediately googled and found this post.

More of the same........a half ring and they were gone.

They called my cell and I did not answer as I did not recognize the number.

Called my cell phone at 1:35pm Eastern Time on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 1, 2014. Left no message.  I only just discovered the call so that is why I'm late reporting it.

DO NOT CALL BACK even if you are curious.

It only ringing a half ring for myself and others leaves me suspicious that it may route to an expensive overseas line when you are tempted to call back.

Just got a call from this same number and it was listed as PA. I did not answer it or call it back. It only rang about half a ring. I hope they catch whoever is doing this and keep them handcuffed for 40 years so they can't use a phone or computer.

Also two rings and they hang up!  No voicemail so just delete the number or add it to a sales contact number so you can ignore it later.

Two rings on my cell phone then hangs up. Very annoying. I don't buy/donate anything from phone solicitors.

A stupid robocall!  I can't see why they do this.  My wife and I both get these calls.

No caller ID. 35 minutes ago.

Just got a call that rang for half a ring then disconnected.  Looked it up and found these reports - so assuming it's a RoboCall.  Also on do not call list and unlisted.  Not going to call back - thanks for posting it up, folks!

Hopefully, it's not a shell number for a current scam that directs your call to an international number (based in Caribbean) that results in outrageous fees.  Here's a recent article about it:

You might want to contact your phone carrier to check for any additional long distance charges.

Best advice - If you don't know the number, don't call it back.  If it's important, they will call back.
