Actually worked for them for 6 months last year, what you say is partly true, there is oppurtunity to succede here. But only for a few. Either you catch a break, some one likes you or your already in with someone there. Theres a reason some agents get hot leads. People never seen before with 6 figure incomes, and others get stuck with all familys on welfare. Some managers are great really teaching helping and mentoring their agents to success. Others like mine only cared about how much they are making and basicly threw me to the wolves when i hit a rough patch. You WONT make it without a good team to support you. And be prepared to spend a ton on gas money and mak almost nothing your first 6-8 weeks. My turning point was when i found agents were making their own buisness. So basicly getting paid huge sums of money and being treated like rock stars for lieing and cheating. When i showed proof, no one cared! But the oppurtunity is there. Just dont be surprised if what they promise doesnt come to true. Oh you also have to pass your insurance exam. Be prepared to spend like $300. And its hard. Most dont pass their first time. And on your last interview have your credit card to pay for their green light training!

Its amazing how American allows companies like this one take advantage of people and promote false incentives. Simon Arias and his company should look take a good look in the mirror and ask themselfves " Why do I lie to honest people and get paid dearly for it.

All i have to say is... I LOVE THIS COMPANY!! It helps to protect families when they really need it. Who ever says this company is a SCAM is honestly just mad they aren't cut out for this job. Its a commission based job, YES. Is it for everyone, NO. Can you make a lot of money with this company, YE$!
Work hard and you will achieve your wildest dreams.
AIL is not for people who want a 9 to 5 and to make under a 100K.
If you want to be making over a 100K a year schedule an interview...
Simon is a true Entrepreneur and from what i heard and seen he is an AMAZING mentor.
One of the top producing SGA's for AIL. Cant wait to meet him.

The job nor the benefits are a scam. Its just not for everybody. Stop Hatin and go flip some burgers or call people about their electric/phone bills in a call center.
A 2012-02-06 22:03:32 Unknown
Haha it's not a scam. Excellent job opportunity. If you ignored, you passed something awesome up. Also, if they called about benefits, they're just representing your union and have no-cost benefits that have been set up for you through the union and the company you work for. NOT A SCAM.

I work for this company, just in Indiana. It has been an incredible blessing to my family and I. and by the way, arias is consistently on top in our company and has made an uncountable number of people very successful and very wealthy. He's pretty much amazing, we all look up to him. And on the flip side, I don't always leave messages when I'm recruiting because I wasn't real impressed with your resume in the first place and I was just giving you a chance to convince me why I should help you become as successful as most of us are.
Shane 2011-11-17 21:38:41 Unknown
That's why your still flipping burgers!

"Mature adults" don't become boiler room slaves. That dubious profession is for morons like you who aren't qualified for a real job.
Pitt123 2011-08-03 21:00:07 Unknown
I used to work there. Not a scam. All of the "scam" stuff that pops up on the internet is from people who, like myself, stopped working there because they didnt like a comission job. Difference between them and myself is that, Im a mature adult. Its a great company if you want a comissioned sales position. If you dont, then its not for you.
Nicole 2011-06-06 20:48:27 Unknown
They didn't leave a message

All of the reports of the calls I see here sound familiar. (My call was from Shannon; she also claimed she found me on CareerBuilder.) When she called, I told her I couldn't talk right then, but would call her back later. She gave me her name and extension. I was just about to call when - just to make sure I had the company name right, I searched the number nad foiund this site. LUCKY! Sounds like I saved myself a lot of trouble. Thanks to everyone who posted!

Hello All!
So I got a call earlier this morning from the mystery number and then just now I got this lame email from SIMON ARIAS with American Income. Here is the email that I got. Looks like Simon took over where Jessica left off.
Be Careful!
Hi, my name is SIMON ARIAS and I am a State Director for American Income. I saw your resume on the internet and felt that I should contact you immediately. Our company currently has openings for several outstanding individuals like you.
If you are an individual seeking a financially rewarding position with a company that is part of the Torchmark Corporation (TMK), a company that truly believes in honesty, integrity and trust, then I would like to speak with you.
Please call my office at 412-235-2385 so we can schedule an interview.
Best regards,
SIMON ARIAS

I received a call from this number and they left a message stating they were from American Income. They got hold of my resume posted on careerbuilder and are trying to recruit. I heard they are a scam outfit so I will ignore.
George 2011-06-06 20:48:27 Unknown
Yeah I just got this call. I guess they got my resume off career builder or Monster. It's gotta be a scam. Only scams and telemarketers call from Unknown Name.
Carrie 2011-06-06 20:48:27 Unknown
I received a call from this number yesterday with a message stating her name was Elizabeth from American Income Co, that she has a copy of my resume (probably from Monster or Career Builder) and wants to set up an interview. After doing some research on American Income (Life Insurance) I found a LOT of negative feedback from previous employees. Essentially it's a scam. And I'd rather flip burgers at McDonald's than sell life insurance or recruit others to do it.
carol 2011-06-06 20:48:27 Unknown
i've got at least 15 calls from this number and they haven't left any message.
troy 2011-06-06 20:48:27 Unknown
