my sister responded to the fake number to reactive her H & R block card and had her money dtolen from her card in the UK H&R block siad they are not liable for the lost. Please help us. They took 2500 and also I got texs stating that she had multiple users on this card. They pouced her leftover money to many differant emerald cards. And stated they are not liable. We called the card number to complain about this situation and we got a person that did not speak english. They asked are you sure you did not take that money out from an ATM. We live in ALBQ, NM I dont know how they expected us to fly to the UK and use a ATM in that country and withdrawl 2500 and return to the US in a matter of minutes. But they still say they are not liable.

got a text message telling me to call this number asap. got home and googled this number and here i am. i text back to them to f*ck off scammers.

I received a text message this morning at 6:41 that stated "Dear H&R Customer. Please call us at 412 246 1513.  I have received calls from numbers similiar to this one, but this is the first text message I have gotten.

These jack@ss's sent me a text at 446 am telling my H&R block had been locked to call this number like many of you I don't have a damn H&R card! It is really becoming annoying though because this is the 3rd time I have got a crazy text like this all three where from different numbers and about different cards none of which I had! these scumbags need to b stopped!

I received the folowing text message on my copany cell phone early this morning (1-16-12):  Dear H&R Customer, Please call us at 412-246-1513.  My company cell phone from Md. is 301-440-2834.

I got a text at 4:02 am saying "Dear H&R Block customer please contact us".

I have never used H&R Block and don't plan to, especially after waking me up.

I just got a text message at 3:15 this morning on my work cell phone staying... Dear H&R Customer please call us at 412-246-1513... Crazy thing is, I never give out my work cell number, I only give out my office number!!

5:00 a freak'n am. I was pissed. I would like to shove my foot so far up somebodies butt!!!!!!!

my husband received a text at 430am and 600am on his work cell and personal cell from this number sayoing H&R customer call us at 412-246-1513

I also got a text from "H&R".

Like the above posters, I don't have an H&R card, account, or any affiliation with them whatsoever.

Just got an SMS message saying Dear H&R Custumer please call us at that 4122461513   I am not a custumer of H&R block they are too expensive so why will I be getting a SMS from this #?

i just got a text from 412-246-1513 saying my h&r block card is locked, & to call to fix it. i don't even have an h&r block card... i've never even stepped foot in an h&r block. definitely a scam!!

yea i just got a txt to saying my h&r block card has been locked... i don't even have an h&r block card.. i called it back b/c i just wanted to see what it would say, it was a slow motion female voice recording automatically asking for my card #. i think somebody's maybe trying to steal any info they can get. it has to be a scam!!!

Just recieved a text message from 412 246 1513, that I need to call H&R tax filing company @412 246 1513!!!

I had the same experience, they will get someones number, scammers like this really piss me off!

PS to earlier posting on (412) 246-1513. I think that Wells Fargo, Indiana Bank and Trust, Bank Atlantic and MasterCard all share responsibility to go after this scammers, too.

Evening of January 14, 2012 received text to cell phone claiming to be a Wells Fargo account alert and to call (412) 246-1513. Called that number and got a computerzied recording claming to be BankAtlantic, and to press 1 to reactivate account, 2 for no. BankAtlantic is in FL. (412) is in Pittsburgh, PA. The phone carrier for (412) 246-1413 is US lec of PA, Inc. I found an old complaint on this number saying that US lec was advised that someone was using this number to commit fraud, and US lec promised to put a stop to it. Obvisouly they did not. I called that number again today, 01/15/12 and now the computerized voice claims to be Indiana Bank & Trust, and that my MasterCard has been locked, press 1 to reactivate. I pressed 1, out of curiosity, and it asks me to enter my full card number. Obviously this scammer is taking advantage of long weekend and bank holiday to try to get as many account numbers as possible. I hope people are not falling for this scam. And US lec should be sued for allowing this fraud to be committed on their phone lines. They've known about it for a while. If any lawyers are reading this, I'd say they could make some legit money by suing US lec for allowing this to continue. If anyone gets damaged by the fraudulant activity from this phone line, they should go after US lec for compensation.

Update: I tried this number again today, January 15, 2012. Now the computerized voice says it is Indiana Bank and Trust and that my MasterCard has been locked. Press 1 to reactivate, 2 for no. (Last night when I tried the number it was "BankAtlantic".) Out of curiosity, I pressed 1, and it asked me to enter my 16 digit account number. Clearly this is a scammer taking advantage of the bank holiday over the long weekend to get people's bank card numbers. This phone number is serviced by US lec of PA, Inc. Whomever US lec (and what a stupid name for a phone company!). US lec has been advised before that this number is being used for fraudulant purposes. I say US lec is liable for letting this go on. If anyone gets harmed by this scam, I say sue US lec for letting this fraud continue on their phone lines. Any attorneys reading this?

I received text on cell phone saying it was Atlantic Alert!!! Please Call us  at 1-412-246-1513

January 14, 2012 received text on cell phone saying it was a Wells Fargo Account Alert and to call (412) 246-1513. I called from a google voice account and got a very bad sounding computerized voice saying it was "Bank Atlantic 24 Hour Security Dept" and to "Press 1 to reactivate card, 2 for no". I just hung up. When I looked up Bank Atlantic, I saw that it is a bank located in FL. They do not have any phone numbers that start with (412). The phone number (412) 246-1513 is located in Pittsburgh, PA and is provided by the phone service provider "US Lec of PA". I plan to call US Lec and let them know they have someone committing fraud on one of their phone numbers. Anyone else who wants to complain to US Lec can call them at 1-800-978-7532.

From a foreign speaking gentleman and his foreign speaking supervisor. Trying to scam $426.00 from me for a payday loan I do not have. I told him not to call me again. I will not accept any calls from them again.
