Just to keep everyone in the loop. This guy is still out there scamming it up. The job posting came from monster.com. Talked with this guy "Steve Elliot," obviously an alias, for three days about a PM position for construction of 1 of 3 resorts on the Exuma Islands south of Nassau for Novomatic. On day 3 we spoke about an interview and how it would transpire with me taking one of two options. Option one buy the ticket outright myself and be reimbursed upon arrival or option 2, let them handle all the work and pay for half, which would be reimbursed upon arrival. Red flags really didn't start going off until I got back an hour later and did some research to verify legitimacy (should have done this before hand but my excitement about position like this clouded my judgment). All in all I lost $177.00 but it could have been worse....I could have flown all the way to Boston and never met anyone then been out the cost of a round trip ticket.

Things to watch out for:
Names: Steve Elliot, Novomatic, Ted Langley (Regional V.P.), John Page, Purchase half a plane ticket.

Good luck all. If you were scammed don't get to upset about it; it won't do any good and just know he'll get his in the end.

I found a post on craigslist charlotte for a food beverage server for a corporate airline.  They were offering $750-$950 plus full benefits.  I called bc it was enticing, but it all seemed so bizarre.  As soon as he asked me for half of my airfare money I knew it wasn't the real deal.  Its now under (713) 481-1882.  He was an older, loud, brusque talker going by the name Ted Danson.  Supposedly he worked for a company called novomatic.  What a jerk.

This guy advertised in the Tampa Tribune on August 10th for restaurant general manager. Call a local number, call another number, spoke with him about flying out to Seattle for an interview. Wanted money for airline ticket via western union. I DON'T THINK SO!!!  Gave the name of Todd Hamilton of Kelco International.

This sounds like the same guy that has called me twice. He says his name is Shawn Ellis. Calling me about a Corporate F/A position. He is a fast loud talker. He doesn't give you much time to ask any questions. He says he's with Cammell-Laird Corp. He has offered to fly me out to San Diego this weekend for an interview. No discussion about money yet. Sounds like a scam. I had a feeling! Won't be answering any of his calls again.

The number was listed in the Omaha World Herald as Security Supervisor for Casino Corp.. The guy should really learn to use Google himself because...1. No Casino operation is legally allowed to set up in Omaha, Nebraska. 2. He used a Des Moines zip code...for those of you who don't know Des Moines is in Iowa...I checked it out anyway, I told him I work with cops now.... Never got a name but the number is back to 813-814-3879. I suggest that everybody search for the company name and contact number of every job opportunity they get. Not to be cynical its just not the same world anymore. We can't take people by their word that we have never met.

Unfortunately I am deperate enough that I fell for this crap, he is advertizing for a project construction manager in a Denver newspaper for resort projects in the Bahamas. This guy really knows how to take advantage of the economy and people's needs. The number he is using here is 813-814-3877 and the name he is using is Dave Langley he was going to interview me on an island in the Bahamas. Like everyone else, I will be attempting to recover the money I wired to him, but I can rest easy knowing that God will punish this guy.
Really?

The job was for a project manager in construction.  He is looking into tracing the call. the phone number is 813-814-3879. We hope no others get scammed!

Thanks everyone for your input, saw this guy's ad on the internet here in seattle wa (posted 8/19/2010) requesting the services of a construction manager.  His number 813/814-3897 with the same MO, indicting that if chosen for an interview, i  would be flown out to his location back east.  This guy is to call me back today .... the initial phone interview was very suspicious, so i google'ed his number and found you-all here.  sorry for anyone that lost money to this guy, but thanks for taking the time to post your info for the rest of us...

John, thanks for your input, i will follow suit in my area to report my suspicions also.

Shaun.....I posted on your other post that I have been called by the same guy....going under the name Bruce Hilton for the CM job.

I sent an email to the FBI at  tampa.division@ic.fbi.gov and also submitted a complaint on their on-line link:  https://tips.fbi.gov/

Good to know we have not fallen victim. Not sure how many have.
Hope they get this guy soon.

Thank goodness we all found this guy out before spending or losing any money.  We have emailed Leisure Conenctions Corporation in England twice and have received no response.  The whole company name, web site, phones, could be a scam.  How can they do this to people when they are already down?  My husband called the FBI and they laughed and said there are so many scams like this.  The usual "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is" comes to mind.  The guy talks like a machine and acts like you're a moron if you ask any details.  I would bet there would be no George Langley at the airport, no job interview, etc.  We asked if they were interviewing 4 people from Rochester, why would they fly all 4 to San Diego, why not fly 1 interviewer here?  No answer to that question and never another call back..

Said he was flying 4 people to seatle to interview for the job and I could pay half and they would pay the rest i just had to wire them the money. When I told him i though it was a scam he said i was the only one who wasn't booked yet and i could check his referances. so gay. I have a wife and a 9 month old baby. I've been looking for a job for year and this guy is trying to take advantage of people. so effing gay.

My husband had the same story, Steve Ellis has called 4 times, Sunday morning (kind of strange) and then this morning with the flight story, Western Union, etc.  Flight info MUST be given to them within 1 hour or his interview slot would be lost.  Name of George Langley or something like that, will meet him at the gate and will refund the flight money right there.  Also, the number to call, 813-814-3875, Steve would NOT be available all day - in meetings.  Limo manager in Rochester, NY, ad on Craigslist.  When he asked the company name on the phone, he said "You're the only one of 4 who doesn't know the name"  Well, you never said it, so how would he know it????  Total BS

Thank you all for sharing this information.  He has called four times in the last three days and not until the last call did he leave his number.  I'm sorry but I'm not going to pick up a private number.  His number now is (813) 814-3875.  He didn't leave a name which made me feel weird about it.  He's now posting in Columbia, SC for a restaurant manager.  Thanks everyone for the heads up and I'm sorry to those who were first scammed.

I found the ad for a activities director for Latchmere Cruise co. At first he sounded great saying that they would fly me out for the interview..that was until he called back again for to book the flight. He then said I would have to pay half so just to make sure I didn't cancel and that they would give me the money back afterward.  I asked for the correct spelling of the company and the guy got an attitude like I should have already known who he was. I started googling and couldn't find anything until I ran across this page. THANKS for the info. This is a complete scam. Don't fall for it.
