3/4/14 - Rcv call frm 412-342-5133, indian voice left me vmail, claims with IRS.  I was so scared, blahahahaha.  Who r these people who believe this BS?

"Federal Tax Investigation Department" indeed. Interesting name the scammer used.

The DNC list is not effective against criminals, spammers, scammers, political callers, survey organizations, or charities.  It is not meant to block calls from those parties.  Its purpose is to stop calls from legitimate telemarketers, and does a pretty good job at that.

I got a call from this number (412-342-5133), also from an Indian-sounding person claiming to be Kevin Brown from the Federal Tax Investigation department.  I am on the Do Not Call Registry, and I reported it to them.  You can also report these calls to the FCC, which I did as well.  Since I never answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, this info was left on my voicemail and was also a written transcript, making it very easy to report.

Beware of Fraudulent calls. On Feb 24- 2014 we received a threatening call from the same number, stating they are from Federal Tax investigation Department stating that there was a tax complaint, and threatening future legal action if call was not returned. Upon returning call the answering machine is of some scamster's voice mail in India asking to leave a message.

The same people have been calling me.
I didn't give them any information but I told them I needed a loan and we were about to go to a verification process and then they hung up and when you call the number back you get a voicemail

some indian-voice scammers leaving multiple messages throughout the day claiming "you've been approved for 2-$5000 cash...noone applied for anything. already told the muthafukcers to stop calling and remove # from their lists, apparently they are hardheaded.
