They are telemarkers calling to "reduce your light bill". I have several people calling from different places, and it seems they all do not care as to if you are at work or not.
I'm curious as to how they got my phone number considering it's a cellphone.

Same as other callers.  I called the number and a guy asked if I wanted to save money on my energy bill.  I said no, I wanted them to quit calling and hanging up without saying anything. He did apologize and said something about the people can't always keep up with the dialing.  I told him to take me off the list and hung up.

I am having the same problem. I normally try to at least be friendly to the people calling, because they are only doing their job, but I received 6 calls in one day and when I finally was able to answer my phone, I asked the girl why she kept calling since I had already requested more than once for my number to be removed and she informed me that over 20 different companies use the similar, if not the same, number. So while I had blocked my number from at least 3 times, other companies were noticing that I had answered my phone for a previous call, which put my number on their list to call. She also explained that the people calling do not actually work for the company they are calling for, they make telemarketing calls for multiple companies and have a script for each one. my suggestion is try to answer and request that they remove your number. You'll have to do it a bumch of times, but at least you wont have to forever see missed calls from a random number on your phone.

They call all times of the day and there is no one on the line and then they hang up after a few seconds.  I tried calling back and after being on hold for a minute they had the nerve to try and sell me something, not sure what because I told them to take me off of there list and huing up.  I called he FTC to report the phone number.  After reading the other complaints I am not surprised it is one of those electric providers. They have been calling me for over a year from different numbers and I always tell them to stop calling but they continue to call time and time again.  It is harassment!!

I am so tired of these calls it drives me crazy, during church, at 8:00am, at work, all evening.  STOP THE MADNESS!  They are using a number of different exchanges but all try selling some electric save money scheme.

I have recieved a call from this number several days in a row. No one says anything on the other line.  I am in the Pittsburgh area.

I just received a call from this number. The girl said she was looking for the person who handles the Duquesne Light bill. I said he was unavailable, did she want to leave a message? She said she would try back and abruptly hung up. I keep getting calls from these companies saying they want to "save us money on our electric bill," and no matter how many times I ask them to take me off their lists, they keep calling.

Missed the original call. Called back. Put on hold for two minutes then hung up. Would like to know who or what entitiy is trying to call me.

Heard echo of my own voice delayed a couple seconds. Then, I hung up.
