Wow..I am amazed! I just a call asking for one of our project managers cell phone number. The lady said her name is Jen with IPX and needing his cell phone number. The funny thing is she said, "here is the thing I left my cell phone at home" and that she was getting ready to leave for an OSHA meeting. When I put her on hold to get my manager..she hung up!

What is going on now?

They just called here, the lady said she was from IPX and, of course said "can you grab so-and-so for me?". When told he wasn't in this afternoon, the lady asked for his cell phone. I refused and she said the same line about how she was getting ready to go into an OSHA meeting and wanted to have his voicemail. Funny how they have so many "OSHA Meetings" at this place! I would hate to work here and have to lie to people all day!

General Contractor, getting the same calls from this number and 404-859-3018. They call for the project manager on such and such site, wanting their cell, I say no can do and ask further questions and they hang up on me. Sometimes they say they are going into an OSHA meeting or some bs like that. Just don't answer.

We're a commercial construction company, these people call several times a day with the same MO:

- I'm a College Student
- We're calling regarding OSHA requirements
- Who's your project manager for yadda yadda yadda?
- We need to update our records. Who's the safety manager for...?

When I say, I don't know can I get your contact info and get back with you. I get, "you don't know?!!", like theyr'e calling me a liar.

Recieved a call at 8:00 this morning. A female caller said she'd been in contact with our safety manager, but couldn't remember his name and phone number.

I replied we didn't have anyone appointed to that position.

She apologied and said she was a freshman at Kent State University and was recently hired at the company. (She sounded much older than a college-age student.) She said her manager asked her to get in contact with our safety manager to send him a catalog.

I told her we're not interested.

F*** calls at 7 in the morning I call back says call can't be completed

Have been getting calls from this number and asking me hey (while laughing) can you grab so & so and then got very rude I too am waiting and ready this time....

Some guy said he was from RCS and wanted to send me a football or baseball jersey.   I told him not bother.  Acted like he knew me.   Very weird.   Very suspicious.

Received 2 calls from 412-393-8302.
First call said she worked for OSHA.  2nd call said she needed the project managers name for a project we completed a while ago. Would not give us any explicite information as to why she needed this information.

I hung up on her..I hope she calls again so I can blow a whistle in her ear!

Got a call from this number - guy talked really fast talking about how he's supplied my construction company with all sorts of different material over the years.  I couldn't really understand the point of his call (sounded like a sales call/scam) and when I asked him to slow down, back up, and start over, he told me to go f*** myself.  Very professional stuff.

Got a call from a woman named 'Karen', claiming she was from IPX Construction. My caller ID showed Duquesne Light. She said she needed to reschedule an OSHA meeting with my project manager (we're general contractors), but couldn't remember his name or cell phone number. When she demanded I give her his name & number I told her I'm not at liberty to give out cell phone numbers, but I would be happy to find out which PM it is & give him her name & number. She got rude, said she would call back later & hung up.  Try again 'Karen'. I'm waiting for you!

Female caller asking for the name and phone number for the project manager of a closed job of ours - we're in commercial construction.  When I asked for her name & phone number so I could find out the information & give her a call back she refused & said that she "didn't know where she would be in a few minutes" and got very rude & hung up.  She called right back & said that she didn't know why I wouldn't give her the information without having her name & phone number & said that I was being "cloak & dagger" & hung up on me.

The number she was calling from said "DQE Inc. 412-393-8302" on our caller id, but the phone number is unreachable.

Says Duquesne Light but they said they were with IPC Construction.  Smells like a SCAM to me.
