They called me at my place of business and when I answered the phone they hung up.  Caller ID said it was ADP.

Receive a call from this number everyday for last 6 months. talked once and said I was not interested.
It is from ADP payroll services sales supposedly. They keep calling, and don't talk and dont leave message..
I tried calling back and left a message to be removed - nothing, they just keep calling.

OUR PAYROLL WAS SCREWED UP ROYALLY BY ADP.  OUR OUT OF STATE TAXES WERE NOT PAID AND THEY DEBITED OUR ACCOUNT AFTER WE STOPPED USING THEM FOR PAYROLL.  THEY STILL CONTINUE TO CALL TO SELL ME CRAP

I received a call today from this number.  He said that he was calling from ADP and wanted to verify the details of my account since he is my new account rep.  I am processing payroll today, and just got off the phone with my rep, so I knew this call was fraudulent.  When I asked what my company's ADP Company code is and what our payment frequency is, he scrambled around saying he will look it up, then said his system is down and he cannot tell me.   In the background was very loud and I could hear other people talking, similar to a call centre.  NICE TRY !!!!!

Hey guys, I work for ADP as well. If you're getting a lot of calls from a rep, please just pick up and let them know you're not interested (or hear them out) - we're actually a bunch of nice people! That's a surefire way to get the calls to stop. In many cases, the call is about far more than just worker's comp (401k, health plans, accounts receivable, etc).

In some states - yes - workers comp rates are monopolistic but ADP has ways of making those payments less-stressful for business owners. In other states, we tend to find better rates because we work with many more carriers than other brokers and also have the advantage of our system integrating directly with your payroll.

If the rep calling you is anything like me, he believes in the services he's providing and would really like to help you and your business grow. The least you can do is give him a few minutes of your time :D

Hey A***ole, workmans comp rates are the same in my state no matter who sells it. If I want your services, I will call you, so you acting as your own telemarketers can stuff it, I am sick of the b***s*** phone calls

I work for ADP and we are not outsourced telemarketers.  We are licensed insurance agents letting you know of our services since you are currently our clients.  If you want to go with us and our better rates and products (since we ARE the ONLY company who offers certain ones) fine... if not, that's fine too. And yes, we DO save the average client 20% compared to the regular ins agent and as most as 60%.  So next time you are rude to us or hang up on us, you could be throwing thousands of dollars in the drain.

keep leaving voicemails about workers comp and missed calls told them I'm on the do not call list.

Don't these idiots know that people actually go out of their way NOT to use products that are promoted by illicit means? I will not purchase or use aproduct that is advertised by intruding into my privacy.

SOOOOooooo tired of all this... years and years of laws about it (ha ha ha...)... and yet thousands of scumbags get up every day just to hassle us all and laugh about it.  And obviously significant numbers get taken by their scams, or they wouldn't keep doing it.  Meanwhile, legitimate use of phones has plummeted.  Just about ready to cancel all phone service....... at any rate, I didn't answer it, since this page was readily available as fair warning.
