This person keeps calling and dont say nothing and its annoying. Stop calling. When u call back nothing happens.

called me AT WORK today and left automated msg re: "free cruise to Bahamas after completing short survey." Yeah, riiiiight......

I got that phone call on class and could not reach the other end back. I had the same experience as you guys ever had. That sucker is an a**hole.

This number called me also on 12/11/08 @ 3:40PST.  Left voicemail about cruise tickets..

i got a missed call from this number and when i called them back i got the mail box full message.

412-414-3632 can be traced to Ramada Plaza Resorts.
Call 954-351-0087 and ask to be removed from there dialer's.
I work in Telecom for a hospital and this has been a plaque, calling into patient rooms and patient care areas.
Thought I would pass the information on to the net.

I received a call from these guys at about 11:30 AM 12/15/2008 EST. As others above have described, a pre-recording plays explainign that "Your Captain Speaking", asking you for answers to 10 basic questions in return for free cruise tickets to Nassau, Bahamas. The 10 questions are things like:

Are you male or female?
What is your age range?
Do you know anyone who is a diabetic?
Do you speak Spanish?
Do you use a debit card or credit card at grocery stores?
Do you use cable or satellite television?
Are you a homeowner?

As you can probably guess, I went through it hoping for free tickets (*sigh*). At the end, they transfer you to an operator, who asks you for your name. I luckily had the foresight to give a fake name. He next asks you if the number they called you at is your "preferred" number. Unfortunately, I said yes. He the immediately proceeded to hang up the phone.

Pretty obvious scam, probably set up by some company offering "market research".

I just got a cal today at 11:31. THe strange part is that my phone has the little "M" next to the number as if they left a message. But my voice mail says "no new messages"

The first thing it said was "this is your captain speaking." It has something to do withboarding passes to somewhere. I hung up the phone. I am so tired of these calls!

Answer the call and it said it was my captain and he was giving me 2 free boarding passes for the bahamas.....I hung-up right after

I missed the call...  Tried to call back but ut was either busy or the mailbox was full...  It got my hopes up because I had a friend who moved to Pittsburgh awhile back and I lost contact with them...  But alas, I guess it is not them...

I got a call too; thought it was from a friend of mine who used to live in Philly.  But I'm glad to know that it's a spam ... Don't answer it if you get a call from whoever that is.

Recieved a call from this number on my cell phone just a few minutes ago.  As I did not recognize the number I didn't answer.  No message left.

Just press 1, then 9 on the first answer, you get directed to their "Number Removal Line" automatically. Otherwise they will keep on calling

"You have been rewarded a free pass to the Bahamas". Then they ask me if I am hispanic, have any diabetic people in the family - no. Then they ask me my credit card # is!  I see their idea: they want to steal your money, rob you, or do whatever they can to screw up your life.  On the car scam they want to steal your car.  So here is my advice: if they try to give you a free pass about anything, hang up.  Or otherwise they might screw up your life.  They use the same voice for the car scam, too.  The free pass thing called around 5:20pm on Tuesday, December 16, 2008.  The car scam and free pass thing have several #'s - here they are.  The car scams are: 1-505-986-8704(Delta, NM) and 1-815-235-7297(Illinois).  The free pass #'s are this one-1-412-414-3632 or the other # is 1-412-414-3607.  The 3607 line is rarely used and the 3632 line is usually busy.  Just be careful to watch out for these things-we don't want anybody's life messed up!

I just got called again!!! Now the car scam.  The # was 1-916-241-4568.  Just wanted to tell you again.

They called me, too, today at 3:15 central time. and i missed it but i called back and its either busy or full mailbox. wtf????

they called at five o4. called, hung up. tried to call them back, busy signal. finally got through, voicemail is full. its a PA number.

412-414-3632 called me today and hung up just the same as you.  I returned the call and got a full mail box.
