Just received a phone call from this number, said hello and no response, so I hung up.  Number called right back...I said hello at least three times and then told them not to call me if they didn't want to speak to me.  On Caller I.D., the caller's name came in as "I."

After countless calls from this number & always a recorded message asking for me by name, then a hang up...i decided to answer. The professional fire fighters association sending me a decal kit etc. solicitation....no thanks....you are now on the DNC list.

OMG that a***ole, moron with the attitude of a bad day Policeman ask for my husband, and I said Sorry stop call my house a***ole, jerk, He said I belong to Police If you give this type of attitude I come to your house to arrest you, Who gives s*** what you said, I hung up so annoy for this type of calls, an arrest for insulting a con-artist really funny, but there is not a such a crime like this, I have to defend myself against fraudsters like this, Really I don't get fool, this piss me off.

Unbelievable! They called again today at 3:13 pm. When I called back a recording asked me to enter my phone number so a representative can call me back. They want to call me so I can tell them to stop calling me? I think not. To quote an old oath, may all of their teeth fall out except one so they can have a toothache.

They called again today at 3:19 pm. The caller ID is still the letter I. We weren't even home at the time, but it was again blocked by our call blocker. I wonder how many times they will call before they give up.

We got a call again from this number today at 3:26 pm, and the caller ID was the same (the letter I). It was again blocked by our call blocker. This is the fourth call in two weeks. They are slow learners.

I wonder how many times they will call before they learn they are being blocked. I highly recommend getting a call blocker to avoid the irritation. It's worth the cost.

They called again today, 8 April 2014, at 7:18 pm, and as I previously stated it is now blocked by our call blocker. The caller ID was still the letter I. Since it is the Fundraising Information Center perhaps the letter I stands for "Information". It is annoying that they call our non-published number.

A jerk answers the phone and asking very rude for somebody at home yeah wanna piece of me, come and get it, but nothing, You will get in exchange for that nasty attitude, I hung up, must be a Police Officer after a hard job duty, try to collect extra cash after ticketing parking cars.

We got a call from this number today at 1:18 pm at our non-published home phone number and didn't answer. Usually such calls come to our business number. The caller ID was the letter I.  When I called back I heard a recording that it was the Fundraising Information Center, which also has called from 610-628-3989 and 215-383-3385. This new number will be added to our call blocker.

I have been getting a call about once a week from this number. They always ask for my deceased husband. I never answer numbers that I don't know and just figure they can leave a message. If they don't leave a message, then its not important. Looks like this is a scam according to many of the previous reports!

They Called, I answered and nothing on other line end. If they call and ask for money for police, I will ask if they are signatories to Oath Keepers. Years ago I found out that these law enforcement calls are from fund raising companies that take a huge chunk of the proceeds...LOL. ... if a-n-y actually gets to the people who need it. Many years ago, as a young struggling man, I gave $20 in cash to a "member' who drove out to my home. I was young and so naive. Never again, folks. But apparently there is an endless supply of suckers, or these calls would stop.

412-430-5550 called. Caller ID: "Charity" Caller asked for now dead person who was previously  scammed out of $20,0000.

Caller ID says charity. FYI, I don't pick up calls that I don't know. I also block them. All I'll get now is one ring and call showing it's blocked.

Caller asked for me by name and said he was a Tech from Microsoft and that it has been identified that my computer has download a dangerous virus.  At that point I hung up.

Called at 8:30 pm with caller id = Charity.  Answered it and a suspicious male voice with no background noise asks 'Is Luze (?) there?'.  When I asked who, the caller hesitated and then almost robotically and with the same tone asks if 'Luze' is there.  

This number has been calling since last week with ID Charity. They claim to be representing National Police Association asking for donation of between $15 to $25, for a sticker to be sent to me. When I asked for further clarification and time to consult with my spouse and friends, the caller hung up. I suspect this to be a scam.

Caller ID showed "CHARITY" and number (412)430-5550. Answering machine started then after a few seconds a MALE voice asked for an individual by name. Caller gave no further information as to why he called nor did he leave a voice message. Multiple searches for this number gave two basic responses:  1 - "No Results Found" and 2 - "Number is part of the Peerless Network, LLC of Pittsburgh, PA and has been active since December 2012".

Always let your answering machine take unknown callers to permit yourself the opportunity to "HEAR" the caller's voice and reason for calling. Only then return their call after you've researched who they are.

Report suspicious calls to the Federal Communications Commission, USA or as instructed in your phone service telephone book.

You can also register your phone number on the Federal Government's "Do Not Call" list.  Telemarketers usually obey it BUT unless they are caught and found guilty, most ignore it.

ID says Charity, and they call every day, and ask for someone after the answer machine plays the greeting.
Scammers/Telemarketers must have a dim prospective of the general populace.
Most folks that I know, don't answer the telephone if the number and ID is not recognizable to them.

Calls almost every day and some days twice and no message left. We are not picking up the phone - it is our rule do not answer on not familiar phone numbers
