The number 412-430-5560 claims to be "Peter Jennings", selling wireless alarm systems "free" in your area, because crimminals are "cutting phone lines on alarm systems". This number is registered in Pennsylvania, but the provider of record is Peerless Network, headquartered in Chicago. THEIR contact numbers to file a complaint are : Phone 312-506-0931, and fax 312-506-0931. THEIR website address is http://www.peerlessnetwork.com/contact-us/ and their physical address is Peerless Network, Inc.,
222 South Riverside Plaza, Suite 2730, Chicago, IL 60606. They have a toll free number 888-380-2721. If you recieve a call from Peter Jennings, or that 412-430-5560 number, call, write, or fax Peerless with a complaint, listing the number that called you, the date and time.

Yeah this number just called my house talking about security systems and gave burglary statistics and asked about my house and he hung up. I feel like he was casing my house. Is there anywhere I can report this?

The a**&*^% called me. Once I heard what they wanted I asked if they knew I was on the do not call list he started apologizing. I tore into him and used some words I have not used in years. I'm tired of this crap. I then immediately reported him to the DNC site. I really don't think the government pays any attention to the complaints filed.

Interesting that on 09/09/2013, Peter was calling from Portland, OR and claiming to be in my area (east coast, mid-Atlantic state). Then today, he called from Pittsburgh, PA and claimed to be in my area again...about 1,000 miles away. Was he run out of Portland? Is the system free but I have to pay for travel time?
Most likely a spoofed Caller ID using a Call Forwarding system.
Note: The Truth in Caller ID Act of 2009, which was signed into law Dec. 22, 2010, prohibits caller ID spoofing for the purposes of defrauding or otherwise causing harm. In June 2010, The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) adopted rules implementing the Truth in Caller ID Act.
What's good for the goose is good for the gander. I got this idea from another poster. My phone provider allows me to not only block a limited number of phone numbers but to also forward a limited number of phone numbers to another single number. I checked a bunch of the jerks (with my Caller ID blocked) and developed a list of ones that answer their phones "live". Then I forward "live" telemarketers to that number (I prefer the Tea Party or some Right-wing religious group because it amuses me). I cycle the destination call on a regular basis.

The air horn will not go through any louder than a police whistle or your loud voice. Same for a high frequency tome but it is more annoying.
Patriot327 2013-09-12 18:31:57 Unknown
Funny you should mention this. I did research an Illuminati site, recently, and unsolicited calls have increased, lately. I'm sure I didn't enter my phone number, anywhere, though. Although I'm listed, it's scary that they can find the number based upon a web look-up.

No message. Caller ID says YourSecurity. Just another telemarketer or scam that the Do Not Call registration does nothing to prevent.
TW 2013-09-11 21:59:05 Telemarketer
This is a robo-call. Peter is not live; he's an automated voice response system. When you say certain words he responds w/ pre-programmed responses.
Kit 2013-09-11 10:47:09 Telemarketer
I usually just let it ring except it will ring for 20-30 times which is VERY annoying. Is it legal to use one of those small air horns as soon as 'Peter" starts talking?
DancingDiva 2013-07-27 20:06:07 Unknown
Reveived this scam call 7/19/13 .. My response was (very very snotty) what the hell do you want!!
Lori 2013-07-25 21:45:52 Unknown
OMG! That is the best yet. I usually say "County Morgue"

Got a hang up call from 412-430-5560 on July 24. The guy's a psycho. Lives to prey on others on the phone. Why can't SOMEBODY find this jerk and lock him for life?
YMan 2013-07-24 22:50:47 Unknown
They call & just hang up?
Helen 2013-07-24 20:14:47 Unknown
412-430-5560 ... Hang up call. Happens often
Also from other numbers: The Co. selling home alarm systems, AND 'health monitor calls' are calling several times a day. I HEARD it was from Xfinity Internet. (The actual company that sends these calls out.) Not sure, of course, just read it on the web. Sure WISH there was a way to stop these pests.

Received calls from TPP (404 891-5541), Tea Party Patri (404 891-5604) & Your Security (412 430-5560) several times a day for a while. Reported to Police, FTC and FBI. They are not Tea Party related but acting like Tea Party to discredit the group. Most importantly, they are a group of COMPUTER HACKERS monitoring your computer and or phone line trying to take it over along with your IDENTITY and CREDIT CARD FRAUD. Please report activity to Better Business Bureau, your local police department, FTC and any other groups. Post their numbers everywhere and tell all your friends, associates and groups so they will go to JAIL soon. I've gotten calls from them when doing "Vulnerability Scans", calling internet provider for help being locked out of computer, reinstating computer services and to multiple phones when getting assistance from outside. Oh, here's two more numbers from their group to note (646) 801-3851 and (440) 617-5620. All Atlanta, Georgia numbers except "Your Security" which should be Pittsburgh number. Hope this helps others out.

After receiving their recorded "free" offer, I called back and just let his recorder repeat over and over. I want these people prosecuted or fined or put out of business somehow.
Pissed 2013-07-20 14:23:13 Unknown
This idiot has called my cell phone 8 times. I have never answered. They never leave a message. This time he had the nerve to wake me up at 7:01am on a Saturday morning. Now I'm pissed! I'm about ready to call him back.

Keep getting robo-calls from " your security" but no one is there, great security company. ( NOT )

Received a call from a person calling himself Peter. He said they were in the neighborhood and were
installing alarms. I told him we were on the Do Not Call list. He kept on talking. I told him we were on
the Do not call list and he then hung up. I get several calls from these clowns, they blocked their call
number so you can not block the call. Comes up Unknown Unavailable.

Caller ID is good. Got a call, but did not answer. I'm on the DNC list also. but it does not seem to matter.
Bob 2013-07-19 21:48:36 Unknown
I am on the do not call list. They don't leave a message.....
sagelady 2013-07-19 17:38:29 Unknown
Received a call from 412-430-5560. Missed the call and never called back. My minutes are precious to me. Telmarketers are calling a DO NOT CALL number.
radical 2013-07-19 06:18:06 Telemarketer
These calls are a criminal enterprise; part of a foreign-based organized crime syndicate. Don't believe that the a***oles calling you don't know they are engaging in criminal activity - they do, and they don't care.
Easiest way to end the calls.... when "Peter" answers, simply say "hello Peter... I know who you are, I know where you are, and I'm going to kill you and your whole family"..... then hang up.
You'd be surprised how many times that rattles them, and they never call you back again.
Sometimes you've got to be an a***ole to effectively deal with an a***ole.

Interestingly, Peter called me too. The moment I told him I was on the Do-Not-Call registry, he hung up on me.
rl mom 2013-07-18 18:50:59 Unknown
This 'Peter' called and claims he couldn't hear me when i said that i didn't have a land line and would never get a land line and that I already have a security system. but he kept saying sorry can you speak louder and repeated it a few time and was extremely rude!! I hung up on him.
not to be fooled 2013-07-18 18:21:46 Telemarketer
"Peter" asked me how I was doing today and then hung up.
ANNOYED 2013-07-18 18:04:11 Unknown
Guy was flat out rude. Talked over me when I told him I wasn't interested, so I hung up. Said we won a free security system...I too am on the DNC. VERY IRRITATED.
