PPL Electric Utilities is required to provide a list to licensed generation suppliers with certain information so they can provide you with important information about their products and services that could save you money. The list is known as the Eligible Customer List. This information includes your name, billing and service address, account number, rate schedule and electric usage data.  It does not include your telephone number.  

To be removed from the Eligible Customer List, visit pplelectric.com/ecl or call 1-800-DIAL-PPL. Suppliers may still contact you if they have an earlier list or they receive your address or phone number from other sources.

If you have asked a supplier to stop calling you and they persist, you may want to register on the state (1-888-777-3406) and federal (1-888-382-1222) Do Not Call Registries. You also can get the name of the supplier and report it to the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission at 1-800-692-7380.

i have blocked several calls but they change their numbers so this won't work.

I feel the same way. Don't recognize the caller don't pick up - if they have a reason to call they would leave a message.

I have requested to b removed 3 times & they still call me 3x a wk. They keep saying they can save me $ on my PP&L bill & keep telling them I don't even have PP&L account!!
So hopefully removal works better for u then did me!

PPL is required to release your energy usage and location, phone number etc. to third parties. Call their privacy number at 610-774-6494 and ask questions. their email is privacypolicy@pplweb.com . double check on their website. ppl.com. also you can block this number to your land line without being charged by calling verizon or your phone company.( you can also do this online / your phone account ) Everyone everywhere gives everything about you at all times. it sucks

Experiencing same as all previous posts. Just called the number. Message replies if you "press 1" you'll be removed. Hope this works. Calls are very annoying. Now, if we could only figure out a way to get on do not call (disturb) lists for politicians, especially around election time.....!

This number keeps calling.  I don't say hello anymore and they just hang up.  Happens MANY times a day.  How do we stop it?

We keep receiving phone calls from this number.  We have called back and pressed "1" to be removed from the "do not call" list; however, they keep on calling.  What can we do?  Our home phone number was added to the National "Do Not Call" Registry also.

so they have been calling my home up to 10 times a day. no message and just air if you pick up.  I called back and pressed 1 to be placed on the do not call list. we will see what happens.

Keep receiving calls from this number as well.  Leave us alone!  I am on the do not call registry...grrr

This is very frustrating.  We have gotten this call several times a day, every day for several weeks.  What is the 307 number above - I hate to call another number and get on THAT list.  I've signed up for both state and federal do not call lists but I did notice that the fed list says that it blocks for-profit calls.  Could this be slipping in under a non-profit?  Anyone find a solution yet?

NOW 3 MORE CALLS, THAT MAKES 6 CALLS TODAY TOTAL !!!   I pressed zero to agree to speak with someone and they told me they were Energy Assistance Program, I asked where I could get more information and they hung up immediately.

DO NOT give any information to these criminals, I have contacted their carrier and I will PROSECUTE TO THE FULLEST.

They are scammers and liars and need to be shut down and THEY WILL BE.

I have been harrased by these people for weeks, now today I get 3 calls and hung up on in 1 hour, Now I am pressing charges, these a****oles are GOING DOWN BIG TIME

No one ever responds, getting two to three calls a day

These people call my house twice a day every day.  I finally pressed 0 to get an operator and asked that my number be removed from their list and she hung up on me.

I've been receiving calls from this "company 3-4 times a day over the past month. Finally today I let it go, pressed zero and got a person who immediately asked for my account #. Told her no and to stop calling me. She had a major attitude, said "alrighty" and hung up. We'll see if they call again.

The "Electric Center" calls me several times per day, with a recording to switch from a company I do not use.

Yup been calling my house the same time every day all week.  Won't answer.

I continue to get calls from this number and it is now an annoyance. I called the number back and there is a option to be removed from their call list, they say it takes 24hrs but that is not so. I removed my number from the list each time they called. So far it's been over a month. According to their recording, it a service to lower your utility bill.

I get at least 2 calls a day with a message about saving on electric.  One of the calls comes from this number--but alot of the calls are the same recording but from different numbers.  We are on the do not call list and this is a cell phone.  Very annoying.
