Keep getting phone calls from 412 595 8021.  The message just keeps.heeling.

Oddly enough, I do have an acount that I had failed to pay for a while because of simply being slap damn broke. Get this...I finally get up several hundred dollars so that I can get the account current..and also halfway to being paid off and my online access to my account to make payments has been suspended....I find that rather retarded.

This is one of the numbers from them that called me. I do have a late account, but that is because of some hard times right now and I sometimes CAN'T make minimum payments for the time being. Since they choose to be so aggressive, when I see a strange number call, I let the phone connect then blow canned air right onto the mouthpiece.

it is washington mutual. it amases me how these banks loss billions on the real estate ponzi sceme, then harass me for $59!

I have also gotten calls from them repeatedly from several different states -- Washington, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, and one other.  I have no idea why because my payments are current.  I am slightly over my limit, which is their fault because they let me charge over the limit.  That's such a total scam -- they just do it so they can tack on an over-limit fee each month.  Bunch of scam artists; I am definitely getting rid of this card!

they call 10 times a day. when i answer they dont talk!

7 calls today (18 Feb) with last one at 8:15 pm. They also have other phone numbers that call at least 4 times a day. If there is someone on the other end, they can't speak English and don't understand that you are not the person they are seeking. Not sure what to do...I just don't answer if I don't recognize the number.

Many thanks to all who have responded the blog. Your insight was very valuable. The call forwarding idea has given my gal and I peace from this evil WAMU bank. We've been constantly harassed by people who can't speak English.

They call on Sunday morning! They went bankrupt and so will I. Suck it WAMU!!!!

I thought that it was agianst the law to cllaon a Sunday.  I recieved a total of 5 calls from different numbers starting Sunday morning at 7 a.m.  I have just turned my ringer off.  Who calls a person at & on a sunday morning if it is not an emergency in the first place....IDIOTS!!!!!

They have been calling for over a week asking for an individual. I told them several times there was so such person here. Since they ignored me, I started jerking them around by saying things like "he owes me money too, how much does he owe you". The answer was always that they could not discuss it with me. This morning I told them for probably the 3rd or 4th time that there is no such person here.

If they continue to call, I will figure ways to take up more of their time and jerk them around even more.

5:53 AM in Seattle, WA on 12-17-08.  412 is the area code in Pittsburgh, PA, & apparently this person thinks when it's 8:53AM in Pittsburgh, it's also 8:53 AM in Seattle.  I have a WaMu account that's not even 15 days late & already they've started with the calls.  Actually going through debt consolidation so I expect I'll be getting more of them but still I know there are laws about harrassment & appropriate call times & I am logging each & every call.  Got 4 of them from area code 321 (central east-coast FL) on 12-16... 8:30AM, 10:30AM, & within 5 minutes of each other in the 3PM hour.

Would like to know the company name, not the state.

Washington Mutual Card Services. . . keep getting numbers on my cell phone from this POS company.  I have called them now three times informing them that I have no account with them and that they should remove my phone number from their databases, each time I have been told this will be done.  2-5 calls a day and the harassment is continuing. Guess its about time to upgrade this to the next level, maybe they will get the message them. I will never recommend anyone to get a credit card or deal with Washington Mutual ever, even if it was the only bank/credit card company in the world.

I agree with all the comments. If they are seriously trying to collect a debt, why don't they do like most common folks and leave a message. If I hadn't come to this site, I would not have known who this number belonged to. They are very irritating.

What I don't understand, is that you would think that with all these phone numbers, someone would be a National!  What happened to all the people you can understand???

Brian from 11/16 - I feel exactly like you do.  They called before 8 am on this, what should've been a sleep-late Saturday morning, and since they bailed out on the US, I'm bailing out on them.  Speak to my bankruptcy lawyer WAMU.

This number called my house this morning.  Left no message. Caller ID said: Pennsylvania.  This is a no call house.

I have been getting calls from the number all day.  Reveiwing the previous comments, the other telephone numbers mentioned I get calls from them as well.  I do have an account with WAMU and have made arrangements months ago to pay off the account.  Each month payment is taken from my checking account in order to do.  So who are these people calling?  What can be done about it? It is seems an invasion for others to continually dial our home numbers (and sometimes cell numbers).

Don't know who this bunch is but they continually are calling my mother's home and not leaving a message.  The FCC will be notified.

Hey people, don't get upset.  Use your call forward feature and forward the call back to their own number.  Ha Ha.  You can autoforward up to 20 numbers automatically.  Wish I was a fly on the wall when they try to collect from themselves!!!!!!   LOL

I receive calls ALL day and ALL night long from 412-595-9025 Wash Mutual and they also use alternate numbers as well. I made a partial payment, due to a reduction in income unable to make even the minimum amount due and now they call me all the time.  I refuse to talk to them. They are nasty and there is not a shred of empathy. I am trying here, at least a made a monthly payment!!

Do not refuse to talk to them, just tell them like they tell you "this call may or will be recorded for quality assurance" they will not talk to you and then put it in thier file
