Got one of the above messages matching the the stated information on the number 740 963 5046. Told them they were scammers and they responded that that they only lost the cell phone. What a bunch of liar scammers. I am sick of these guys. They are getting smarter in their responses. I am going back to the calls only or will not respond statements in my CL listings.. This is definately a scammer.

I replied to see what would happen since Ocoee is local I thought it may be legit.
Here is the reply to my reply : " Yes I am interested in your vehicle.  Do you know if its been in any accidents or had any major problems with it?  When is it available to see and do you have a carfax by any chance?

No offense to any who ends email with best regards but every fake or scam email I have ever run into has always ended in Best Regards , lol .

Received the same text about their son losing his phone, can't email etc. Was told to use vinchex.com

Just got the same deal. The number is a bit different asked me for a carfax report and then gave me advice to buy from vinchexcom

Same thing.. went as far as playing along, their deal is they want you to use VINCHEX.com instead of carfax, saying its cheaper.

I got it too. Tried to get me to use www.vinchex.com. Told them to take a hike.

Received the same text as everyone else. Sent a nice text back to them! Knew it was scammers from the get go!
