If you have a health issue (diabetes for example) and you have Cigna health care they will provide at no cost a health advisor who will contact you periodically and try and help you manage your health issuea. They maintain a database on you but it is private. The goal is to make sure you are taking your meds, properly modifying your life style, essentially doing what you are supposed to do and being aware of what you can do. I had a similar program with Anthem Blue Cross. Insurance companies found it is cheaper to help a person stay healthy than pay for the consequences of not being healthy.
Some people find this type of thing instrusive. I liked the person who called me from Anthem. Once you tell them you are not interested in this service they will stop calling. If you are trying to stay healthy these calls can be helpful for some people. The first call is the longest since they have to record all your info. They they call and check...are you testing your blood sugar, taking your meds, how is the diet and exercise going...etc. You can ask the questions you forget to ask or are afraid to ask your doctor.

Gota a call from 412-747-7477. They left no VM. Called them back and got "thank you for calling intracore"?
Eventually the operator picked up & said "thank you for calling Cigna Healthcare, how may I direct your call".
There was no way to find out what they wanted. I live in AZ, they are located in Pittsburgh, PA. I have no idea what they wanted & I don't have Cigna as my insurance company.

Here's some major background on this whole situation I found out today...
Company calling: Luebke Baker & Associates (LBA)
Concerning: Consolidated Media Services (CMS)
CMS was sued by the FTC and the Dept. of Justice for unfair business practices and fraud. They subsequently folded, and LBA somehow acquired the "supposed" debts from them, hoping to make some money off of it.
There are numerous complaints that have been filed with the FTC, and they should be launching an investigation soon, as they just started this recently.
If you've been called and harrassed by them, and by them calling so often and either hanging up or no one being there when you answer, it DOES constitue harassment and you can fine them with the assistance of a lawyer.
To get them to quit calling, you can go to www.lba93.com and get their address. Send them a certified letter demanding that you do NOT owe any debt to them or CMS, and that they should quit calling.
If you can get them to send some sort of bill in the mail, you may be able to get a lawyer to send them a letter, and I've heard of ppl actually making a few thousand dollars off of them in an out-of-court settlement.
Good luck everyone!
