I also get calls. This is precisely why a) I have caller ID, and b) an answering machine. If I do not recognize the number-or wish to deal with the caller for one and/or other methods, I simply ignore them. Why get frustrated when you can't do a blasted thing about it. I have family members who sleep during the day so I have the ringer off too.

This company has called for several days, never leaves a message.  It's annoying and I'd like it stopped.

the same number just called me..i called it back...no answer...when i went to check it online(comcast missed calls) it didnt show up at all on my call list? very strange...but it did show up on my caller id...hmmm?

my Pgh Post Gazette subscription expired. I am assuming that is who it is. They never leave a message

I have contacted the Attorney General's office with a formal complaint.  This call continues to come in, VERY annoying, no one is there,  call it back, no one picks up.  I seem to remember a solicitation from York Newspaper Company coming from Tel Start Corp.

Calls - no message. Has called my home and cell.  Always in the evening.  I never pick up though - it is unrecognized

This number has called my cell phone all summer long 3 to 6 times a day... They need to stop, no one is ever there and when u call it back no body picks up, just rings and rings... It's getting very old....

Thanks for the new number AC.  I was getting calls all day during the week and weekends.  It was unbelievable. I reported them on the Do Not Call List since I am registered there and then I called and waited for the operator and had them remove my name from the list as well.  I don't understand why they couldn't identify themselves in the first place and why they would go through the childish hang up routine.  It was just dumb.

answered call...said hello 4 times and some1 finally responded and said they were from a newspaper company, so i told them i wasnt interested and hung up, hope they dont call me back

Telestart Corp. calls me 1-3 times a day.  I'm typically not home when they call.  The few times that I am home have been late in the evening when I'm trying to put my kids to bed.  This needs to stop.  I tried calling 1-866-733-0851, as suggested by others, but it doesn't go through.  I will have to find another way to get these annoying telemarketers to stop calling.

Thanks for this list. Was the Erie Times News trying to get me to resubscribe. The gentleman at the 800 number was nice and polite, told me why I was getting the calls and told me he would take me off the list. Asked me why I subscribed, I told him since the newspapers elected all these democrats, they should feel the pain the rest of us feel by losing money too. He laughed and said he'd pass that along.

i dont pick up if i dont know the number and they aren't leaving messages.
thought maybe it was a wrong number since we have been getting calls for some guy from two different companies.

I too, tried to call back the 412 number on the caller i.d and it just rang and rang.  So, I just called the 1-866-733-0851 listed here and selected option 1 (telemarketing). I asked politely to be removed from the list (I didn't scream and yell at them as they are just doing their job. I've worked customer service and it is a thankless job wherever you work. It is hard to come into work and have people yell at you all day.)  He just asked for my number and said it was removed.  He was very polite too. So, hopefully this works. Otherwise, I will call and speak to a manager.  However, I had another telemarketing place that was calling me, and I just asked to be removed from the calling list and I was. :)

Using Tyrone's (thanks Tyrone) info I have learned that this company does telemarketing for a local newspaper in York, Pa. A call to 866-733-0851 was actually answered and they promised to take me off the list. We'll see! I assume they'd like to sell all of us a newspaper subscription?

I called the 866 # and asked to be removed also. let's see if it stops.

Got a call again today from this number and I finally answered...trying to sell me the York Sunday paper...

morning and evening  gets call from above number

calls several times a week and often 2 or 3 times a day
If I let machine pick up they do not leave a message.
Don't these people have to go by the "DO NOT CALL LIST"
How can thsy get away with this???!!!

I gt a call from this # today, as well as yesterday afternoon. I didn't  get to the phone right away. I tried to call it back as it is in my area too, and no one answered. ANNOYING!! Now I know not to answer it
