Caller claimed to be calling on behalf of call firefighters. Told him we only mail checks to verifiable addresses. Told him we don't do that. He obnoxiously said THEY only do business his way. Kept trying to verbally beat me down so I hung up.

They called, I did not recognize the number, so I did not pick up.
Call screening and an answering machine are worthwhile investments.
Anyone in my family, my friends and my work know enough to either say "It's so-and-so...pick up"
or they leave a message.
A friend told me that if you pick up on the cretins and just hit the "6" or "9" buttons repeatedly iT can screw up the robo device used to call your number.
Has anyone tried that?

Just got a call - rang twice then no more. Answering machine didn't even have time to pick up. Caller ID gave phone number and "Local Call". Since the 413 area code isn't local to me I knew it must be some kind of scam.Now I'll never know what kind because I've blocked the number :-)

Git a call form this number saying they were with a vol fire department looking for a angle Travis we have one vol fire depart in area. And thier number comes up as the department not a cell phone number and the department officer identity their self.

Answered a call from this #, woman asked for my Mom or Dad (I'm 31!) I said not available, but could I take a... then I realized she had already hung up. I haven't been reporting the UNRELENTING advertising calls, but this has pushed me over the edge!

JUST GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER I BELIEVE IT WAS FROM A SCAMMER WHO GOES BY THE NAME OF COLE BASH. ALL THE CALLER ID HAD WAS IT WAS AN INCOMING CALL FROM SPRINGFIELD WHEN I SAID HELLO NOONE ANSWERED, SO I HUNG UP. THIS IS THE FIRST ONE THAT I HAVE RECIEVED BUT I WILL REPORT BACK IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN. NEXT TIME I WILL JUST LET IF TGO TO ANSWER MACHINE AND LOCK IT IN AHD REPORT IT TO THE POLICE.

typical phone call from these types of people (either bill collectors, scammers, charities or all of the above) the answering machine picked up and they didn't leave a message surprise surprise surprise. Caller ID only says Springfield MA

This number calls 4-6 times/day and won't leave a message; sometimes won't pick up. Rude when asked to stop calling and now they won't stop despite

Call came in and there was a humming noise on the line like they were recording something or a recorder was not working. I have got this call several times. This caller I would not trust. When I called them back, recording said number is either disconnected or cannot be completed as dialed.
