Just got the same text message...Coincidentally, I have a friend with the name given and almost woke her up in the middle of the night! What a waste of my time and text minutes, but thank for posting so others know it's all BS.

A friend of mine text me....."Hey I need 2 talk 2 U cuz sum s**t went down and its about u. My phones about to dietho so call this number 413 497 0025"
Then i called the number and it's a stupid psychic hotline!

When I called it I got a funny message about how to keep an idiot busy.  Called my cell company after reading this and they told me there was no charges and that a number can not charge you by calling unless it's a 900 number.  They would have to have your credit card info.

this just happened to me.   said it was from one of my husband's friends.   I googled the number before I called it.

REJECTED LINE   1-310-495-5412    PERFECT TO GIVE PEOPLE TRYING TO HIT ON YOU AT THE CLUB.

When I got this text frm sum one in san antonio tx with a 210 number n my job is to answer

ok the original caller id that came up was from 602-790-3436 and it did say "Need to talk to you about some stuff that just happened and it involves you. My phone is about to die so call me on this number 413-497-0025" so when I did a reverse phone number search I found out that the 602 cell number is listed in Tucson and is in Maricopa county and then the 413 # is a land line in Ma and Md. I am glad I did not call this number and am glad all of you have posted! Thank you!

I received the text message. I googled b4 calling.  What I don't get is...how did they get my friends name and number from my phone? I called my friend and he said that he didn't send no message. I don't use my bluetooth (at all)...scary to think that someone must have hacked my phone.  Another scary thing...I have pix of my little girl on my phone.  I hope they didn't take those (child porn).

It is a bit dumb, mildly amusing and NOT a number that will charge you for anything but long distance (assuming you're still living in the Dark Ages, paying for long distance). I thought it was pretty funny and im not sure how they could charge you unless you dont have long distance. Most people do and like the girl said earlier they didnt charge her friends prepay. Its hilarious loosen up

i called it like a dummy not realizing that my friend could have just called me back from the number she told ME to call (413-497-0025) and there was the Psychiatric hotline....now im getting all these other calls that are scams from different numbers..i mean the call was kinda funny but not when it adds all this other nonsense...so its a waste of time and not funny after all

Dont bother calling the number. Luckily I dont call numbers that I dont know. I looked it up online and it goes back to a Land Line number in Gilbetville, MA for some hotline.

Hmm someone has to be paying for this phone line so I would not be surprised if some out of area people did get some kind of surcharge. It maybe funny if you call it but, in the end the joke maybe on your wallet. Thank god for google

My wife called it before she told me about it and I said ya better check the phone bill.  Low and behold there was a 49.00 dollar charge.  Beware.

Yea my friend forwarded that to me a few minutes ago and she forgot to delete the "FWD" so I knew it was a joke. Dont call that number!! lol

Give me a break this is so STUPID why do i need 2 call a phone # 2 b told im psycho i could just ask my FAMILY. And dont 4get they said some1 called it and he got slapped with a $50.00 charge.

I JUST IT AND WATCH OUT THERE ARE SOME HIDEN CHARGES FOR IT. EITHER LONG DISTSNCE. YOUR CARRIER COULD SLAP ON SOME CHARGERS. CALLING THIS NUMBER IS NOT FREE. ITS FUNNY BUT IT COST. SO BEWARE

but thank god I googled the 4134970025 number and came across these posts from other people!

I personally would like to take a baseball bat to the skull of the morons who think this s**t up!
