Got a text to call 4134970091 from a friend, saying his phone was dead, could I call him on this number. Well, I did. It was some prank for sex addiction or something. But within 30 minutes my Yahoo account was compromised. A coincidence?, I am not sure. But I don't accept anything from this "friend" anymore.

For Gods sake.   It's not the IRS or the FBI or anything other than a joke from a friend who obviously thought you had more of a sense of humor than what you do.  Get your panties out of a bunch and call the number it is actually funny if you have a sense of humor.

It CAN charge you. It's called direct billing, and companies like Jamster do it all the time.

Your phone company can't charge you extra for calling a simple 413 phone number.  I called the number after getting a text message from a friend (not a virus but an actual person) - it's a recording for a "Sex Addiction Hotline" - a prank, of course.

I'm most positive someone is trying to aggravate me.  It's a funny message, but I don't want anyone to have my phone number out floating around.

Hysterical! My buddy in Miami sent it to me and I cracked.   Up so I sent it to all my friends with a sence of humor including my dad and everyone thought it was great except for 1 person. Lots of people said they needed the laugh. Lighten up!!!

Well, I spent $20 bucks on the last Adam Sandler movie and didn't laugh.  I laughed my a** off at this, so....if there is a $20 charge on my phone bill at least I laughed.

I got a text telling me to call them at this number..I too got the sex addiction hotline..When I googled this number and read the complaints people have been charged $20 for making this call..Look at your phone bill folks..

I looked it up on humorhotlines - not listed on their site. I really hope Im not getting charged as im not the one who pays my phone bill

This is no joke people, or if it is, the jokes on you. Do Not call that number. The phone company will charge your phone bill $20 for each call and when you forward it to your friends because "it's pretty funny", they will all get charged $20.00 each. See who's the one laughing after this goes virul because "it's pretty funny"... morons.

it's from humorhotlines.com...it's nothing, it's just a free recording with an ad at the end.  and there's no $19.95 charge.  it's reverse viral marketing:  you call them because someone thinks it's funny and sends you a text with one of their 100 numbers.  at the end of the "funny" message, they play an advertisement that they "tricked you" into listening to.  it's actually quite brilliant.

Received calls from this number and other but didn't recognize them.  Because it is an incoming call on our cell phones it used up minutes from our calling plan making them go over for the last few months.

I see no humor in a prank call from a hacked cellphone. For one thing that is illegal and also, when I received a text from someone saying its important I call them back I assume something bad happened.  GROW UP PEOPLE.
