I use wheresmycellphone.com all the time to find my phone. Twice in the past I've gotten a voicemail (I wasn't there to pick up the phone either time from a number in Massachusetts of a women breathing and saying "goodbye" and then hanging up. The first time I thought it was the wrong number but the second time it sounded like the same recording, months later. The second time I named that number "Goodbye" and when I used Where's My Cell Phone that popped up as Caller ID. Very Strange.

It went to voicemail.  I did use "Where's My Cell Phone" right before this call. This hasn't happened before.  I donated to WMCP after I used their service a couple times.  From now on, I'll figure out another way to find my cell phone.

This is from wheresmycellphone.com. But now they are giving you an ad for trivia or some other contest, instead of just saying something about finding your phone. I love being able to find my phone with the website, though. I guess if everyone contributed to their site they might not have to use other advertising.

You're right about it being a great service but I still don't want calls that I didn't ask for ... especially in the middle of the night.

I got a call from this # at 12:21 this morning ... very annoying.  I do use wheresmycellphone.com and love it, the call at that came so early was from this #, but the message they left said something about pressing 9 to answer some movie trivia ?'s and then hung up. I don't want to block wheresmycellphone because I like to use it.  I think I'll call them and see what happens.

This is indeed the automated number for whersmycellphone.com other scamers spoof you by making you think they called you to get them in trouble..since little harm to an automatic dial number as opposed to just spoofing someones number at a live line.

ON THE OTHER HAND..kids have been known to call the service and give out cell numbers so folks get annoying calls from the service..

They've called three or four times in two days - very annoying.

A recording calls my phone and sais, (no hello or identiffication) "We are going to show you how to keep an idiot entertained".  The reciording just repeats and I have tryed contacting but nothing seems to work.

I can say this.  I will not allow this to continue.  If I get anymore insulting recording, I will persue the matter legally.

THESE PHONE CALLS ARE AT 3:30 4:00AM THEY CALL MY MOM'S HOUSE AND I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW TO STOP THEM.THEY TELL THAT SHE WON 50,000 DOLLAR'S IF SHE PRESSES THE #9 ONE DAY SHE DID TO SEE WHAT THEY WOULD SAY THEY TOLD HER THAT SHE WAS STUPIED FOR DOING IT.MY MOTHER IS 76 YEARS OLD SHE DOES NOT NEED THIS CRAP.CAN SOMEONE TELL ME PLEASE HOW DO YOU STOP THESE PHONE CALLS.

They call every week.  I am on the do not call list.  Somebody selling bank credit cards.  Automated call.

I called the number back after recieving 5 calls and santa clause answered and said bad things about his wife and the retarded elves is this going to cost me money on my phone bill.

I have never used the wheresmycell website - so I definitely didn't put my number into the website - so I have a hard time believing this is what's going on.

This is from wheresmycellphone.com.  Either you forgot you used it, or someone is putting the wrong number in, looking for their phone by accident, or just being a d$&k and putting random numbers in.  The site specifically asks not to prank from their site, and offers an alternative site to use for prank calls.

THE NAME OF THE COMPANY THAT HAS AND IS SPAMMING YOU IS "RH BRANDS" AND THEIR DIRECT NUMBERS ARE 404 496 6916 AND 404 496-6921. VOICE MAIL ANSWERS BOTH, THE SECOND EVEN GIVE THE NAME OF A DIFFERENT BUSINESS, BUT IT IS THEM. THE CELL SPAMMING HAS BEEN TRACED DIRECTLY TO THEM.

Yes, this is the number that shows up on your cell phone when you use wheresmycellphone.com. If you call back, you get a message about "how to keep an idiot entertained." While I appreciate the usefulness of wheresmycellphone.com, I discovered that it's important to close the window with that website after using it to find my phone. Otherwise, my cats will sometimes step on the keyboard or mouse and initiate an unwanted phone call in the middle of the night. Not so cool!

I received over 7 calls from this number over the weekend with messages left.  I had not had my phone and when I listened to the messages there was nothing.  Called to see what the number was, and said was "funny phone messages"

Someone keeps harassing me from this number.
