If you don't want to do the survey, pick up the phone and ask to be taken off the list - simple as that.  There is no need to be rude, everyone has long, stressful days. There are real people on the other end of the phone that have those same stressful days and they don't need to be yelled at.

They don't want to sell you anything. They don't know your name or address. They're just doing their job, in an attempt to help improve health services in your area. What's so wrong with that?

This number keeps coming in through my fax machine!  They must be really bright, the machine picks up after one ring EVERY time, but they just keep calling!  Every day - all day!  4 times already today.  BTW, I have this fax number on the "do not call" registry too, but that doesn't help!

sure they are legit.......we all have answering machines so why don't they leave a message. By the way, what legit business doesn't have an answering machine?  The Attorney is going to a phone call about this annoying daily phone call.

is the information: call verizon and report the harassing calls, it IS a landline so, so they have the names and addresses.

the caller bearly speaks english and its the same guy that calls everytime. sometimes they block the number, call from a local number or out of state number... but its always the same guy.  i yell at him to remove my number but he either tells me its not a sales call or he just hangs up on me. he calls any day of the week at any given time. sometimes as early as 730am or as late as 9pm. its either everyday or every other multiple times. someone needs to do someting about them....

I got this call too.  I cannot find any reference to this study on line, I received no prior notice of it.   As far as I am concerned it is foolish to answer questions for any adhoc phone call.  If this study is really a professional study, they should have provided notice in the mails first.

The presumption that someone is going to answer questions of a stranger is typical of todays government.

CDC health survey, and must have your input, even though I have asked they do not call they call almost every day even weekends. Legit or not I don't want to take the time to talk to them.

They call me every day at the same times 3:30PM and 5:30PM and I'm getting really annoyed because I walk in the door from work and there they are - it's additional stress I don't need!

This is a real study actually.  It is the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System Study.  This is a national study that is looking specifically at Massachusetts residents.  It is gathering information that affects the choices people make to stay healthy.  It is not a telemarketing call.  Due to the design of this particular study, we do not have an Answering Machine message to leave.  It is legitimate.

Had checked online, from what it said it's a landline number from Northampton, MA, and the phone carrier is Verizon. Don't know the name of person or company yet.

Getting annoyed with this telemarketer call, keeps calling me everyday. They'll call but won't leave a mmessage. Need to keep my phone line open for important calls.
