Hey Tough Guy..this is a scam, they scare people who have never owed any money to pay a bogus debt. The amounts are usually not that big so they can scare people into paying. A legit debt company will send you a letter in the mail first stating what you owe etc. Legit Debt collectors don't "spoof" the numbers they call on. Legit debt collectors don't ask you for your name and address and hang up on you when you askequestions. So before you open your mouth..learn the facts Tough Guy! P.S. I've never had any debt in  my life, pay all my bills on time.

I used to get calls on my old phone number for someone trying to collect from the previous person who had the number, after 8months of trying to get them to stop i had to change my number. I have no debt, they even call for someone else with the same last name i had no clue who it was, debt collectors are bullies. Keep your political statement bs out of these forums, people just want to know who called them. Some people are government leaches and others hit an unfortunate circumstances. This is not the forum for the discussion myguess is these comments are the debt collectors i find it hard to believe that a non debt collector wouldgo hear to complain inthis manner they would post the comments where they would have more exposure.

I got a call from this 413-749-4710 I told them I would send a check just as soon as I receive my Government bail out money , even though the call wasn't for me  i still answered it

I say screw em. Play the system, charge up as much debt as these dirt bags will give you. Invest your ill gotten gains in a way that can't touch.that's what I did! You don't need credit to live a good life, on the other hand they need you to make those minimum payments!

compassion?? lol the family that cant afford their rent, but their kids have a Play Station 3 and there is a 56 inch HDTV with a netflix account in the living room in a Section 8 housing complex, or the 45 year old women that takes her 'pains' here in there and turns it into her 'oh poor me I can't work because it hurts' life story.  Go on SSDI, see a lawyer and sit on your a** the rest of your life watching MASH and HOUSE reruns

or make something of your life, pay your bills, OR DONT GET THE APARTMENT or the CELL PHONE or THE CREDIT CARD

Do not feel that you owe anyone a reason for why you cannot pay your bills.  We all have our problems and this is no ones business but yours.  You should not be made to feel like a criminal or less than anyone else just because you are having a hard time. God bless the person that isn't having a hard time right now.  Good for them but how about some compassion for your fellow man and stop making them feel worse than they already do?  I have been in that situation and at times it seemed hopeless but as time went on things got slowly better.  I still have some creditors but I am dealing with that. No one has a right to make you feel bad because you don't have the ability to pay bills right now.   Just tell the creditors "When I get it, you will get it".  That is all you owe an explanation to.  Good luck, hang in there.

It's very difficult to pay your bills when you've lost your job due to an illness that is no fault of your own and have no income yet don't qualify for any assistance because you're not a baby factory and don't have any kids (b/c most people don't qualify unless they do have kids and to get federal assistance, takes quite a bit of time, does not occur overnight, could take a few years actually, spent with no income at all).  Maybe you'd like to pay my bills for me?  I don't have many, but the few I do have I cannot pay b/c I don't have a money tree in my backyard.  I'm barely able to eat every day and generally I don't.  I usually eat every 3 days or so.  So don't sit on your high horse judging me.  And by the way, I'm not paying for the phone, it's the person's who's been kind enough to let me stay with them, rent free.  It's really not nice to judge others, especially when you don't know their situation.

Call from 413-749-4710 a number of times now in the last 30 days. sometimes asking for someone who does not nor ever has lived at this number. They say press yes if this the party or 2 if not, The best thing to do is let it go to your answering service. I am getting anotherone as I am on the computor, they just hung up this time with no message.

Got a  call from 413-749-4710 on my machine asked for someone to press 1 if them 2 if not..They also left a 800 number too..8008296191 whick i looked up..It is scum bag debt collectors from the info i got from researching,,

Got message on my answering machine which said NORM. That was it! They hung up! I think it is a debt collection agency but am not sure!
