I get approximately 2 hang up calls a day from this number. I have been registered on the DNC registry for months yet they are relentlessly abusive. Apparently Bush's grandiosity regarding his Do Not Call Registry,,,is just another one of his HUGE failures.

I have NOT just mo9ved and have had my landline number continuously with the same provider for 9 years, yet got a call from these people this evening.  I am also registered on the national DNC list, and do report these nuisance calls there, but nothing ever seems to happen, and they continue from many companies DAILY.  I am getting very frustrated, and feel like a hostage to the caller id.

I called the 800 number as suggested by Henry, the lady I spoke with was very nice and said that would be no problem to remove my number. Now let's see if it actually worked...

I had a home office line put in a month ago, and immediately began getting solicitors calls (how did they get my number so quickly?).
I get one from this number 2-3 times per day. What's worse is that they call at night and I run into my office thinking it's an emergency.
My caller id shows YPR (No 'O').

If you have Comcast digital voice, you can screen out this caller by dialing *60 and following the instructions.  Like a lot of people, I just got a Comcast VOIP phone and get called by YPR and YPOR every day.

I get a call from this number at least 3 times a day.  I have an answering machine and it still hold on to the line long enough to leave a blank message.  I wonder if anyone will file a class action against this company.

In reading the postings for these calls.  It seems to me that many have switched phone companies at sometime recently.  I registered my number last year with the DO NOT CALL Registry and everything was fine.  I had been with Comcast Telephone for several years.  I recently switched my phone service last month July '07 to AT&T/SBC and after that we started getting the calls from YPOR (Caller ID) and the phone# 414-208-1035.  I tried the phone feature to BLOCK or Screen calls, but the system cannot block calls from that number, long distance #'s and some cell number.  Last night I re-registered my number with the DO NOT CALL Registry and filled out a complaint.  I guess we'll see.

Re: 414-208-1035. I have gone through several of these steps, and others, and am still getting calls from this number.  Though I so appreciate the insight and info on things we can do, I can't ignore the fact that we have to spend so much time and energy and money/resources to get something we did not consent to to stop.  Have we no rights any more?  Where is the moral fiber of such a company that chooses to bully and take over in such a way?

We receive calls constantly from this number, I used to not answer, but then I got so sick of it I tried to answer to thell them to stop calling... and gee there was no one there... then I continued to answer with the same result, no one is there!  I am very hesitant to enter our number into their automated message. (The one you get when you call them back)  I am wondering if it is someone looking for numbers to use to charge phone calls to...
OK, a little paranoind, I know, they've already called my number anyway, right?  Does anyone know how to make them stop calling?  Has anyone received strange charges to their phone number after entering it into their do not call list?  Did anyone stop recieving phone calls from them after entering your number on their do not call list?

Just moved & had phone installed by Qwest and getting phone calls all the time from YPOR.  It's not just Comcast folks.  The company is receiving info of new phone #'s being installed from somewhere else.  Please contact the FCC and report it with the phone companies.  Nothing gets taken care of faster than a squeeking wheel!

A deputy is looking into allegations that repeatedly received telephone calls from a caller-ID?d entity ?YPOR,? at (414) 208-1035 is in violation of Colorado revised statute 18-9-111(f), Harassment, a class 3 Misdemeanor. Investigation to date indicates that the calls are from an entity called ?Verafast,? whose toll-free number is (800)327-8463. Currently awaiting a telephone response as to the question ?what is your purpose in calling??

FYI: I recently switched over to Comcast digital phone, when I checked my Colorado No Call List, my number was not on it.  It had dropped off. I do believe due to the switch even though I was already a customer.  If your state has one sign up immediately, so you can report abuse.  I believe their system some how recognizes drop offs on the list and then sends out test bogus calls.  Anyway, find time to report this so we can "Can" this company's harassing calls.

These people call me several times a day amd "YPOR" shows up on the caller ID. Today they called at 6 pm and again at 8 pm. It seems an obvious violation of the "do not call" law as I am already on the do-not-call list.  If you google the acronym "YPOR" you will find a lot of other people with the same complaint.  I believe these people should be made an example.

Moved Phone Number from VOIP service to landline. Within a week I started to get calls from this number. I emailed the President of the Company Veri-fast and cc'd all 5 commissioners of the FCC. I also fw'd a copy to each of my State Representives. Not that I expect it to change anything, but maybe if everybody did this kind of thing .... well, you know. The text of that letter is below:

The following letter was forwarded to the President of Vera-fast and cc?d to the Commissioners of the FCC. This another example of how companies can not be trusted to be self-policing. Corporate America will do anything for profit and increasing it. Right or wrong.

It never ceases to amaze me how much the Government will let people, especially companies, to get away with ? as long as they pay the piper. It seems to me, that it is money, not morality or justice that rules America. There is a typo in the US currency should read "In Greed We Trust".

Dear Sirs,

I left a VOIP (now with regret) phone service and moved my number to a land line. Within 1 week of the switch I started getting more phone calls per day than I was getting in a month!!!!

I don't use the phone much. With the exception of a family member, my phone has rarely rung during the past 2.5 years. Now I am getting 7-10 calls a day!!!!!

One of those callers is from your company, Mr. Bensman. YPOR (414-208-1035). For the past several weeks I have been getting calls from this number SEVERAL TIMES A DAY, EVERY DAY!. As soon as the answering machine picks up, YPOR releases the call. The caller refuses to leave a message. This is not "telemarketing", this is HARRASSEMENT!

Enough is Enough. This was number was never on the DO NOT CALL list, but I have added it because of this activity by Mr. Bensman?s company(s). Unfortunately, it takes 31 days or more for it to appear on the list and I am already sick and tired of your company. I do not want the newspapers your are hawking. Newspapers are a waste of trees and I don't have time to read them. I am a very private person and I want to be left alone. I can not stress enough that my answering machine message is very clear about the fact that I don't want such phone calls.

Mr. Bensman, I would appreciate it if you would make sure that my phone number (XXX)XXX-XXXX is immediately removed from your calling program.

Commissioners,

I could not help but notice that not only is Mr. Bensman's company calling so often it is driving me to the point of madness; He also had/has also patented (United States Patent 5920623) his harassment tool.

http://www.patentstorm.us/patents/5920623-description.html

I called the phone service provider, Embarq to complain about the calls because I can't block the calls. I agreed to pay a monthly fee to block such calls and the call still gets thru! Do you think Mr. Bensman might be profiting by harassing people with unwanted and unsolicited phone calls to a private line so that they have to buy a product or service to stop the harassment. Evidently, Embarq is [profiting].

It appears that Mr. Bensman's company(s) is engaging in pattern of harassing behavior for the purpose of creating the need for a service or product to protect citizen's who have a right to be left in peace. Somehow, this also seems to be fraudulent. Collusion with the phone company, maybe? The calls started coming in within a week of switching providers. I know that the phone company is making money on the sale of my private info and now, it is looking to make a profit because I can't stop the harassment without forking over more money --- oh right, that's the point <sarcasm>.

As my private number can be "purchased" by companies for uses such as described above as well as telemarketing; I think it is only fair that your home numbers be made public. This way we can call you at your homes and "sell" you on passing and enforcing laws that stop the use of the phone in this manner or -- and to sell you on protecting net-neutrality and telling our stories to you, personally, as to how we are being affected (Comcast has no competitor, so I had to go with DSL). In fact, if you will give me your number, I would be very happy to take a couple of weeks to call you as often as Ver-a-Fast has been calling me.

Then tell me if it is fair.

It never ceases to amaze me how much the Government will let people and, especially, companies to get away with as long as they pay the piper. It seems to me, that it is money, not morality or justice that rules America. Apparently. there is a typo in the US currency should read "In Greed We Trust".
