To add to my rant...
I've also tried calling this number (by *67'ing it so it's private), in hopes they would answer so I could at least hear a voice. But it rings twice, then disconnects...every time!

No idea who it is, but it's getting old! The only thing he told me about himself was that he's part black. At first maybe I thought it was someone I knew because I live in a very "white city" but am best friends with the only 3 black guys around here. But after seeing all these posts, it's obviously a lowlife prankster...
He/she kept sending dumb/pointless messages, then they turned very rude, along with asking my age (obviously didn't give it to him). I told him "I have a grown-up job and don't have time to piss around, so please get a life and leave me alone." From there, the messages just got inappropriate saying he's going to do nasty things to me. I ignored ALL of these messages. He called me twice in a row from a private number at 6:30am, hears my name in my voicemail, then texts me my name repeatedly...
I didn't get anything for 3 days:) buuuut of course, now I'm getting them again, but now he's trying to be nice. Since these messages have started, I've only replied 7 times out of who knows how many ?! I've ignored the past 10, but he's still going at it! >:(
I can block calls on my phone, but not texts. It's very frustrating, but the only thing I can do is ignore them. :(

Do you know who he is? If you do, keep all the texts and go to your local magistrates office and file harassment charges.

He has been doing this to me for over 2 years. He keeps changing numbers. And it's the same texts. I got him to send me his picture. He says he is gonna find me and rape me and the cops won't do anything

Same thing, called with "wrong number" then started sending texts - tried to be friendly at first then just a total weirdo! CREEP, get a life!!!

Received a phone call first, it was displayed as a private number. Answered phone, and they mumbled something and hung up. Then the text messages started with "LOL, Sorry wrong number." Got that message twice, so I asked who it was and I was told I was slow, that they were just apologizing to me. After a few more heated exchanges, I threatened to call the police and report them for harassment.
