i got a text from this number said i won a $1000 from best buy gift card

I got a text from this number saying i won a $1000 best buy gift card but they needed my credit card number

Scam ...... when called was a "Humor Hotline" saying friend outsourced friendship to india...lol...not! so i waited till end of call and was given op. to recieve weekly updates, so i entered all my not friends numbers in and sent them a text welcoming them to the humor hotline.

Also received text from above number saying I had won the $1000 gift card.  Didn't respond because I felt it was spam. I especially loved this since I don't have texting on my account.  Won't they be surprised when they find out I have closed out this phone account so no more texts!

I responded.. "Attention! You have won a lawsuit. Now take your card, shove it up your a** and die, please and thank you"

Got a text about winning $1000 Best Buy gift card.  New website, though: http://bestbuy.rwdzn.com/{redacted}.  Told to enter in a code that I see in other posts here.

Customers of AT&T Mobility, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint and others can forward their text spam message to 7726. The mobile phone carrier will ask customers for the phone number that?s linked to the spam message so they and Cloudmark can start investigating.

same bestbuy gift card BS.  the text came at 2:30am. I went to to the website, it looks pretty good, but the timer was ticking down with 4 minutes to go! but I looked up the # first and the timer ran out. thanks for making me miss out on a $1000! back to bed lol

I also received the same phone call  text message from the same # 414-323-0446 re: $1000.00 Best Buy gift card. You would think that Best Buy would go after these scammers ???? Did not go to website (same as listed above), never know what they might try to slip on  your system.

This was texted to my hubby last week. And just received the same text myself! The sad thing is, I don't even have a BestBuy Rewards Zone membership! What a scam. If you have recently filled out BestBuy survey for customer feedback and still think that this is valid, check the website listed on your receipt, the list of winners will be there, and NOT notified by this fake text.

I'm reporting this on as many sites as possible to get the word out.  Don't be scammed!

I got a text this morning from 414-323-0446 about winning a Best Buy $1000 Gift Card. I tried to call the number listed, but the voice mail box was full. I didn't go to the address http://bestbuygc.net/?12 to enter the code 8228 as the text instructed me to because that address looks like a fraud.

Got msg in middle of night! Tries to get you to sign up for a bunch of crap only to never send the gift card. Absolute SCAM!!!

The message came @ 4 in the morning....really?  They said use promo code "8228"....I've seen other complaints where people have reported they are given the same promo code....really?

Scammers beware...people DO report your crap.

Just got a text from this scammer about my lucky winnings of a FAKE best buy gift card. lol

I got a text also and its a scam....the person is from west allis wisconsin I don't no how they got my number but I reported them.

I got a text - contact "bestbuygc.net" - looks like a phishing/scam attempt.  Many other complaints out there if you Google it.

Is this real?
