I have the same problem, that number shows up and my answering machine picks up and then I hear a bunch of noise in the background and then they hang up...wth???

I received a call like this today.  Didn't answer as it says "unknown caller", but when I tried to call it back, I got an operator message that the number has been disconnected.

I received the same call. When I answered they asked for my son and then asked my name. They claimed they were from the Vietnam Veterans of America but then the second guy stumbled over his words and said he was from the Officers Association then changed his mind again and said "I mean Veterans Association". They said they are sending some "Tea Kettle" for a donation from me with a Thank you letter from the President. Sounds like a scam.

This call has been coming in daily for the last 12 days - including Sundays - and on 2-3 occasions they have tried to call back immediately after not getting an answer. The caller never leaves a message.

Based on others'comments I am glad I have not answered this call.

This person also keeps calling me - at least 10 times in the past week.  The 2 times I did answer, I just heard background voices and then the caller hangs up.  If I do not answer, he does not leave a message.

I've been receiving this call for about a week now.  No message left on the answering machine, but I hear voices in the background during the call.

I keep getting requests for $15 from some police association, fire dept association, a veterans group, and now calls from this number too.  The last call told my wife they wanted the support of $15 like we gave last year.  Only thing is, we didn't live in the United States last year, we lived in Japan. This telemarketing is an annoyance, I wish everyone would do as I do and tell the callers “I might have bought your product (or support your cause) in the past, but because you called me at home, you lost me as a customer (or contributor).”

I have been getting daily calls from this number for MONTHS now - I have never picked up, but with a teen in the house, decided to google it and see what came up - Thanks for the info - I will continue to ignore this annoying call - anyone have any idea how to report it to  . . . . whomever????

This number keeps calling me...1-3 times a week for the last 2 or 3 weeks. They dont leave a message and when I answer, I hear voices talking in the background and then they hang up.....ugh! Who is calling from 414-354-9561

They have been calling around breakfast and dinner every night for about 3 weeks. We've typically let it be, since we're working on a computer program that will say something to the effect of "you've reached the Milwaukee Fraud Offices," but the first time we picked up we got a hungover guy, and the second time we got a very enigmatic woman. Lately, I've just been letting high pitched screams right into the receiver. Maybe they'll stop calling if it causes them physical pain.

This number has come up on my caller ID at least a dozen times in the past 2 weeks.  I screen my calls and don't answer calls from  numbers I don't recognize but when the call goes to my answering machine there is no message.

These jerks call every day... it is a telemarketing company... every time they call it is for a different campaign... VFW, cancer, police, you name it... I keep telling them to put me on the do-not-call list but then the next campaign will call the following day.  These people are scum, when they hear you won't be donating they get all rude and hang up.  Nobody should be freaked out, it's not a stalker.  Just a bunch of telemarketing a-holes.

Kind of glad to have found everyone's notes.  This "guy" has been calling me since I moved in my new house about a month ago.  What do you suppose they want?

this number appars on my caller i.d. three or four times a day I don't know ant one in wisconsin. wish this would stop. it is very annoying.

Also got a cal from this number.  In Nebraska,  Don't know him.  This is spooking me.

This number called my cell phone last night.  There was a male voice on the phone and he stated that he was with the Wisconsin Veterans of War or something to that effect.  I was in the middle of eating dinner and told him this was not a good time and he said he would call back another time.  Have not heard anything since.

WE live in RI and this guy calls every night. We do not answer because we are not interested in whatever he is selling.  Love caller ID....

Just like other people in these comments.  I got a call from Robert Huehn of the 414 area code.  I answer and they immediately hang up.  Later I asked my wife is she knows the person and she doesn't (she's not even from the US).  I called the number back and heard a message that was unlike any message that I've heard before.  The message was that the number was not in service but had a lot of other wierd noises also.  It'd sure be nice to give the business back at em'.

This person also calls my number repeatedly.  When I do answer, I hear background voices and the person hangs up.  Otherwise, he/they do not leave a voicemail.

I live in Nebraska and this number has been calling me for a few days now and shows up as unknown name. I answered it and no one was there. I then tried calling it back immediately after and it said the number had been disconnected or no longer in use....weird.

This number showed up on my caller id.  I live in Nebraska.  Area code 414 is in Wisconsin.  I don't know anyone in Wisconsin.

they've tried calling today, and when i got home from work I answered it, and they immediately hung up.
