Continue to get calls from this number

They called me daily for more than 2 weeks.  Doesn't leave a message.  Called back to a generic voicemail of SMG. Not sure what that is.

This number called me this morning, at 3:37 AM AND 4:24 AM.
It woke us up from a deep sleep and I thought there was an emergency or someone died. If this is a robotic call, why is it calling so early. Horrible.

No caller on line. This is part of a series of calls received since August 31, 2012 coinciding with contact with a known person. This person apparently does not understand every person and/or company involved is calling a police protected number. Felony criminal charges await all involved. Unfortunately most people do not have this protection.

These jerks called yesterday and again 2 minutes ago. No one is on the line. If they were - I'd let them have it.

Received a call from this number this morning. I hung up and didn't listen to see if anyone was there. They've called several times - weeks ago. Total scammers.

Just got another call from these spammers. I picked up the phone and disconnected.

Just got another call from these spammers - and picked up & disconnected before hearing anything -- if there was something to hear. They use many phone numbers with names of "cities".

Just received a call from this number. They've called before so I knew it was a spammer. When I picked up, it disconnected. Tell these a--holes to Quit while they're ahead.

Been getting daily calls from them for the past 3 weeks. Looked up SMG Call Center - it is a legitimate call center that a company hires to make robo calls. It is all preprogrammed electronics. They can make at least 1,000,000 (yes, one million) calls a day! It can be MPTV and MSOE and everybody else at the same time. I've added them to my blocked call list rather than give the caller the knowledge they've reached an active phone number.

Just received another call from this number, thought it was spam all of this time as well and finally decided to answer.

Turns out it was a call from Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) looking for donations from their alumni for their annual drive. So at least as of 5/10/2012, it appears the number is being used for legitimate reasons as part of their assigned call bank.

Then you obviously misdialed.

This number is for a company called SMG Call Center.  MPTV does not call individual nonmembers soliciting for donations.  If you want to be removed from SMG's call list, call their number back and leave your name, number of yours that was called, and state that you want to be removed.

All of MPTV's phone numbers start with either 297 or 271.  They are an MATC-Supported Service so all of their phone numbers use MATC's three digits with the exception of their Auction site in Brookfield, which is in a 262 area code.

You are absolutely wrong.  It is NOT MPTV.  This is not and has never been one of their numbers and they certainly don't call nonmembers individually for donations.  I called this number back and it is for an SMG Call Center.  If you call the number back, you can have yourself removed from their list.

FOund out they are Milwaukee Public Televison looking for donations. Apparently they do not apply to the do not call list.

Called twice -- nobody on the other end.

I answered and it was Milwaukee Public Television. They need money to keep going. I don't think as a non-profit organization they're subject to the FCC's no-call list. Not sure of that though...

On the no-call list but got a call from 414 395 8088 anyway 12/26/2010 at 5:45pm. No message. Will report to FCC.com

I am also receiving calls from this number. They hang up if I answer and don't leave a message if it goes to voice mail.  As I am on the do not call list I should be getting no solicitation.  I called the number back and got a voicemail for an SMG Call Center.  Don't know if this is a real business or not.

Someone from this number called, left no audio message but left the phone off the hook momentarily, then hung up.
