i am NOW getting this same phone call too!!! this started like 3 days ago out of the blue!!!  i am at my wits end now....im so pissed off!!!!! :( except this person's name is Dean White....yea right..lol...and he told me the same thing that i am committing fraud with checks and this is from an account that has been CLOSED FOR YEARS!!!!! lol........i dont understand how people get away with this??? this is totall HARRASSMENT!!!  i have filed the complaint with the FTC....and now i am going to my ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE FOR CONSUMER COMPLAINTS!!!! this is ILLEGAL!!!!! they are nothing but a third party collection agency who have no right to threaten with the law!!!!!  have u reported this to anyone else yet???? if not...please do so......i cannot stand this anymore...my nerves are shot!!!  Good luck to you too!!!!  take care!

These people called me two weeks ago saying that I owe $1300 in unpaid payday loans from two company's from about 2 or 3 years ago.. They never gave me the companies name each time I asked only to say unpaid loans.. They made arrangements with me of $35 for the first payment and they would make a settlement with me making arrangements of three payments for the next 3 months of $145. I thought this was true at first so I made a payment of $35 dollars two weeks ago( with a prepaid card of course) and when they tried to debit my card today the funds wasn't available they were upset. I was trying to set up arrangements to make a payment on next Friday they kept saying that they needed it today or we can no-longer hold your files. The lady got very nasty with me so I asked to speak with her manager.......well he picks the phone up and says" What's the problem, you can't keep your agreement" .He also said that figures you're in Alabama,i should have known coming from where your are. When i asked to speak to the person over him he said that I 'am the manager why do you think she sent you to me. I knew then for sure that this company was a scam.Please beware!!!! I'm contacting Fox6 about this case. They  thereated me also with court papers but I know that they're not who they say they are.

They have been calling us for weeks. Always a different number, different person & no information on what these calls are about. They are about our son who owes no one anything! They give me a case # sometimes. We've asked them to stop calling & told them our son does not even live with us. He is grown with his own family for God's sake!! they are calling him too. When he did call one back, they became furious because he wouldn't give them his social security number!! Today I was contacted by an "investigator white"! Sounds serious doesn't it? It's pathetic is what it is! We are senior citizens & they better hope one of us doesn't die of a heart attack from these calls. We will sue their butts off!!!

i got a call saying that they had all my information work credit history and everything they are saying something about check fraud

A Dean White from Goldberg & Maxwell called my parents & sisters phone asking for me! Rude just rude to them.  Finally called him back he wanted to let me know about a chk that was paid in 2007 but the $35 fee to his company was not paid! Give me  break!!!

This looser called my cell phone asked for Debra _______ I told him this was not Debra's phone number he said "he will notify the attornies  right away.  Then he hung up

Been calling me at work Goldberg Maxwell.That I commit Fraud against checking place. That they were going to send something to my work place to take care of this matter. I got to an argument with this gentleman because. I told him to stop calling me at work and he was bothering me.

Left message on my cell phone that Ian Mullings calling from Goldberg Maxwell about a check fraud against me from Bank of America and if not resolved will send court filing to my place of residence. I called this person and he had my name and other history information that I was surprised about. I will not answer this call now knowing it is a scam and let them leave a message instead. I don't know how he or they got my cell phone number. I think someone is either selling people's info or they are gathering info illegally.
