They are scam artists! They got me for $500 because they are good. Don't send them a dam. thing no matter how accurate the information is! Now I'm closing the checking account that my debit card was used on! I feel sick!

I think this Michael Burns just scamed me out of $500! I got the same call a few weeks ago but what got me was that I did have some payday loans I defaulted on unfortunately, but they had the amounts alomst down to the exact tee! Same story, if I didn't pay I'd be summons for court and be stuck with all those fees and such! My debt was originally $1000 but with interest and penality it was not $1850, they said. But since I'm on disability now they "agreed" to a one time deduction at .40 p/dollar and yada, yada, yada. Needless to say I've changed my lifestyle and I'm trying to right the wrongs I did that one bad year, 2010, so we sent the money to keep me out of court. Needless to say, we are changing our checking account and our debit card that we used! Damn, I feel sick now! It's just they had ALL the correct information to pull this out! I've been calling them but no return calls! I'm now getting my attorney involved in this! I'm pissed!

i just recieved a phone call from 414-431-4514...the mans names was michael burns with goldburg and maxwell....he said that i had an account with a bank in 2007....well that account was closed before that date but didn't let him know that.....i asked a lot of questions so i know if this was really real or not...i asked for all the information about my account and then reading on here that it was a scam which i really appriate it....don't let them harrass you or threaten you at all...just let them know that you have contacted your local police and they will leave you alone

These Goldburg and Maxwell called me today. Man by the name of Michael Burns... He said he was trying to collect a debt and said that they were trying to work out payments before they sent out a summons for me in my county.... I have read several different things that they can't do that? wondering if that is true?

29 May 2012My wife just got a call from 414-431-5175 from Susan Goodwill(could be a fake name, if so very illegal to do). She said she is from the same company. She was very rude and verbally abusive to my wife. I called her to see what was the problem. She was trying to collected a debt(what wife told me). She was very rude and wouldn't let me talk just continued to talk through me while I was trying to ask her questions. We were wanting to help but her c*nt of an attitude has made someone else's debt a little harder to collect. So I think someone put you down as a reference. Don't tell them anything they are a joke in the collection world.

I just got a call from this number from a Michael Maxwell from Goldberg and Maxwell he wont say what the nature of the call but that I must call him.
