Yes I got the call and then tried to call the number back. Busy signal and from my cell it stated the call could not be completed. I sent a message to the carrier about this. I should get a call back in 30 min....if not I am going to the FCC not only on the caller but on the carrier. THIS HAS TO STOP!

BTW. as others had reported here, his voice was gravelly and the connection kept breaking up. That led me to believe it was a cell phone, not a land line as my White Pages lookup had sais.

I live in Madison, WI and he called from the Milwaukee area. My White Pages said his phone was a land line in downtown Milwaukee.

He was collecting for some vague-sounding children's charity in Madison. I told him I already gave. Like others who've posted here, it's probably a scam or someone who keeps 90% of the money for himself! which, IMO, is just as much a scam.

They called, and we declined to donate, then they sent a bill for a donation.  Now they are calling to collect. What a scam, Wisconsin Firefighters....

My wife got a call from this number last year and they proclaim to be firefighter for Wisconsin and asked donation. She send this scam twenty dollars donation. I got a call this year and he said thank you for your donation last year and ask to donate again. I know it was a scam so I asked him too many questions until he hang up on me

Why are these scam artisits allowed to use the telphone as a weapon against people with no consequences???

Guess I got sucked in the 'fire fighter line' and I sent them donations. Fooled me twice and the the third time_I told the guy that my family already give enough donations to charities locally and some other organization that I will not name. The caller had the nerve to call me a 'f***ing liar'. So...now when I see 414 on my phone, I ignore them, especially I don't know anybody with that code. I did the reversed check and "the number you're calling in not in use" message

My 94 year old mother got a call from them yesterday and she wrote a check. She must have been really pressured, because she never responds to telephone solicitation. I tore it up. Screw these scammers! Donate directly, I say!

Just got a call from this number & my 10-year answered.  Says the guy on the other end was very rude & then the caller hung up on him.  I would never support anyone that is rude to my child.

Called my home phone butchered my name and I asked who was calling.  Tried chummy approach I asked why he was calling.  Told me he was calling to try and help someone and that he guessed he had the wrong number and hung up.  I feel TERRIBLE the guy just wanted to help me.  Oh wait he wanted to help me empty my wallet.

   Got this call too. I was out of the area when I received it and I'm from the greater Milwaukee area. It's from West Allis specifically. Its unfortunate this town earned the nickname "Dirty Allis" for several reasons including crime and corruption. NEVER trust this number. Keep reporting MAYBE the feds will get around to enforcing...the locals won't.

I receive calls from number 414-431-9095 several times a week and want these calls to stop. Please advise as to what needs to happen to be on a no call list. This party is soliciting donations.

caller id shows call at 5:42pm (suppertime). Landline on Do Not Call List since July 2013,

We got a few calls from that number also and it was all over the tv a few weeks ago saying that they were looking for money and the cops were saying if you get a call to contact them which I will do if I get another call from this number.  They're becoming real pests.  Very annoying.

Apparently you are not getting it blocked.  If it is blocked, and the same number,   it won't get thru.  
If you are relying on the DNC Registry,  it doesn't block calls.

Have been called by this number for too long!! I've blocked the number...why is it still getting thru?

No one answers - they don't hang up - sometimes they call 3 times in one day.
From posts I read, it may be people representing the Firefighters. I greatly admire firefighters and this is giving them a very bad name.

They own this website and are collecting your info every time someone post on here. Post from a public computer to avoid any problems. :)

414-431-9095 called today. I said "hello," a man replied "hello." I repeated "hello?" and the man replied "yes, hello," but that's all he would say. Then I said "did you want something?" Then he hung up. I called the number back several times but there is no ring tone, or voice mail. Thought it was a prank call.

This has been doing on for some years.  Obviously the state and federal authorities are not doing their job.
How can 6 pages of complains go unheard?  Some telephone companies have a feature blocking calls from this number.  Since you are on your own - use it!

why be on a no call list all the time yet keep getting calls from this number every day?

I have been getting a rash of these calls from varying locations (Caller ID Numbers) including state patrol, firefighters, sheriffs offices including Hatley,WI.??,Black River Falls, Outagamie county,etc. At least 3 of them give their name as Mike......

Never donate to a telephone solicitor anymore. The bad guys outnumber the good and we all know how to find the good guys if we feel they are deserving.

These scumballs have even provoked my conscience a bit into recognizing that I was overdue in kicking in a few bucks to St, Judes, United way, and the like. Maybe they're good for something -but not much
