Just got an offer on something I had on Craigslist from Paul k. @ 14144658209. Same scenario as Kayla's. thank goodness for this site!

Just got a bunch of texts from this number from "Paul Korczyk in Milwaukee". I am selling a wedding dress on craigslist and he was VERY pushy about it all.  Decided to look up this number and lo and behold...SCAMMER!!  UGH!

Definitely a scammer. Tried to send me a cashiers check for a piece of junk car I am selling, claimed he would get it shipped from OK to WI. This phone number is found on several similar sites to this one.

This guy is using 2 numbers now.   414-465-8209 and 985-205-1316

Rec'd the same text from Paul Korczyk, from Milwaukee, WI for an auto I have for sale on Craigslist. Same details as above.  I knew it was a scam as soon as he started with the textbook scam deal with the certified bank check and shipping company deal.  I just told him CASH only deal, haven't heard from him since.  I wish there is another way we can report this number. Does anyone know?

Yup.......Getting texts from this number. Man says his name is Paul Korczyk, from Milwaukee WI. Wanted to purchase my vehicle off of craigslist. He said he wants me to consider it sold, take my ad off of craigslist, and he'll send me a certified check, then he'll take care of the shipping. My husband called him, and he insisted on having our address to send the check.  We didn't give it to him though, and I had some doubts. Googled it, and my gut feeling was right!

Got a text from 414-456-8209 at 3:34 p.m. on July 23, 2013 wanting to buy a wedding dress I have listed on Craigslist. not replying to this scammer.

I received a text sating his name was Carlos Waddington from Milwaukee WI. He hold me he wanted to send me a certified check and he would arrange pickup. I just told him I will accept cash at time of pickup and I have not heard a peep back. Knew he had to be a scammer.

Got the text as well, and a check from University of Colorado for way more than the item I listed. I'm thinking of returning to FedEx and having them ship back to the return address. I'm just concerned that they know my address.

I have been talking to a Christopher from this number. he is sending me a check through FedEx I've got the FedEx tracking number it should be getting here on Tuesday. I don't know if its a scam it sounds like it. Did your check cash that you deposited?

Got the same text from a Christopher Garr from Milwaukee. Sent $1500 check for a significantly less item and was asked to send remaining funds to the shipper Victoria Belafonte in Plano, TX. He FedEx'd the check from an escrow service in CA. But the FedEx was received by FedEx in TX not CA like the address said. The purchaser on the check was named as Long Island University. So most definitely a scam!

Same number (414) 465-8209 from Milwaukee. Only the name used was Christopher Garr I gave him my address and email and he told me he'd send a check fed ex for the amount I wanted and send me a tracking number this was yesterday and I never received a tracking number yet wish I would have read this and been a little smarter about it not sure what to do now hopefully he doesn't send me anything..

A guy by name jeremy Williams send me a 2500 check for somethink that im selling on craiglist and I went and deposit the check I have to wait 48 hrs to verify that je jas funds in his account his been texting me from this number (1202) 643-3702 asking me to sen money to a lady victoria at this address.  (2/3)Receiver's Name.... He did the same thing. Sent me a check for 1500 and wanted me to send money back to a Victoria Belmonte at 768 Stoney Dr.  Plano Texas 75025

received a text from this number claiming his name was james walker for something i had listed on craigslist,
hes a scammer buyer beware!
