collection agency...... and they are truely rude!  It was for a medical bill I left unpaid since I was fighting the charges.  I say mess with their heads and give them all the incorrect info you can.

Don't know. I picked up, then the phone rang - so it must be a computer calling you and then if you pick up, then a real person gets on the line. Must be some scam, debt collector. She wouldn't tell me the name of her agency though when I asked, so I hung up. They never called back

Caller wanted my information and hung up on me when i wouldn't give it to them. I don't give my info out over the phone. Honestly i think its someone trying to steal credit/persoal identification info.

They called my cell phone too, and when I answered it started ringing as if I called them.
This IS a collection agency. They are called ARS (Account Recovery Services) located in Milwaukee, WI.
I suggest you go to their website (arspif.com) and prank call the two phone #'s they provide to contact them.

apparently, they HAD my social security number I think. because i gave them a fake wrong one and they said it didn't check out

Called me. Didn't leave a message. I called it back. Someone answered with "Is this ______?" instead of hello. Immediately I asked who they were. They became angry, say its a personal matter and asked me to verify last numbers of my SS. When I refuse and ask again, they become even more angry...eventually the person hung up on me after I irritated them in return.

414-479-3805 this number is a scam. They never leave a message if you don't answer. If you do answer they tell you they need your social security number for a personal matter. When you won't give it to them they hang up on you. If you try to call the number back you can't connect with anyone.

Called and just hung up when I answered.

They called me and wanted me to confirm my social security number, I didn't of course and he got upset , told me he could release any information without releasing my information.  I asked him to mail me a letter and he said due to federal regulations I can't mail out  a 3rd this close in time.
I told him I couldn't confirm my information with out knowing why and I hung up.

They call all the time. I'm a 3rd shifter & they always wake me. I've asked to have my number removed, and was repsonded with, "If I just answer there questions and give them the information they are seeking, only then would they stop".  Needless to say, I'm fed up and hung up.

These people CONSTANTLY call my cell phone regarding a "personal issue".  When you do call, you can't actually get through to anyone at the 414-479-3805 OR the 866-272-8894 x2032 that they give you to call.

I received a call from 414-479-3805 and it hung up and then called the number back by itself.. Then when I called the number back some guy answered saying hi name was Mr. Roberto... Would not give out anymore information saying it was a personal matter and didn't even get the name right of who he was looking for...

Wife answered the phone. Had my name totally backwards.  Said it was a "personal matter". Asked MY WIFE for the last 4 digits of my social security number.  When she wouldn't give it to them, they hung up on her.

Received a call from this number it just rang and someone picked up the phone and said they need to verify me by my last 4 of my social and date of birth for a financial matter. When I told them I dont give that info out they hung up.

Called the number back and they wouldn't give me any information of the agency. Thinking it's a scam...

My guess is that it is a collection agency.  I only have one - US Cellular; and I refuse to pay it.  There was no contract because I had my own Blackberry.  But when I requested it to be shut off on the 15th of the month, I was told they could not shut it off until the 12th of the next month - the anniversary date.  That was almost $100, and I said I am tired of being ripped off by the big guy.  I wasn't planning on buying anything for a while, and they are the only BAD on my report; so I am keeping my money.

Type in the number and collections to see if it comes up.
