Lol, "me thinks the lady doth protest too much!" --from Hamlet (was one of my grandmother's favorite quotes).  Took me years to figure out what it meant:
The more someone denies, the likelihood of such denials being true declines.

There are MANY comments on this link:

The posts began April, 2012 to Sept, 2013.  Judging from the posts, several mention the "recruiting" aspect.  It seems to be a very LARGE part of the "job."
This is one I found to be informative, despite the title.:
"Amazing Company, Ethics, Values and products
Financial Representative - Part-Time (Former Employee), Paramus, NJ ? July 31, 2012
Pros: the opportunity
Cons: not having a job to pay my bills while building this business and for me recruiting was difficult.
The only thing typical about this company is that it deals in Financial Services, it is not a job however it is a business opportunity. You pay a small fee to join that helps you get a producers license which then opens the door to creating a client base.
The only thing that stays the same is the training day."

On the above site, it says it's Insurance company ... seems to be more products than any person can comprehensively grasp in a few weeks or months.

And all this does is tell me to stay far far away .. not something I would waste time and energy on when a steady job with a steady income is more profitable in the long run!

ROFLMAO... and yet, you STILL don't know the name of this "great" company.   "With my experience I'm interested in the entry level..."-- still not knowing the name of the company, I would agree that ENTRY LEVEL would be suitable for you.  I'd hate to see you doing a sales presentation or attempting to tell ME how to manage MY funds and you not even knowing the name of the company, nor being able to provide a link for the BBB rating, much less the website of the company.

You should have done some research on 800 notes too.  We too have candidates & management  who are hard working, motivated and have strong people skills when it comes to finding shills and scammers.

It's a policy we've seen in our backyard as well, leading to a smear campaign, ransom demands, and a DDoS attack.

Wow. They've really succeeded in saturating the web with "this is not a scam" pages. Even going so far as to register at least one domain name with "primerica" and "scam" in it (with a page that "investigates" Primerica and predictably concludes it's not a scam but an "opportunity" for those willing to "work hard").

I suppose it shouldn't be a surprise that there are so many pages praising/promoting it: By its very nature MLM gives incentive to this kind of behavior, attempting to assuage suspicions of the public in general, because the more suckers there are out there the better it is for everyone in the "game".

And to think I'd never even heard of Primerica until today!

If history is any indicator we can now expect a torrent of "satisfied Primerica members" to appear and extol the virtues of the company while berating its critics for being afraid or hard work, etc. They appear to shill *very* aggressively as a matter of policy.

I'm impressed by all the time you've invested here to promote the multi-level marketing company you clearly already work for, that's all for nothing.  /Backhanded compliment

OMFG -- It's Primerica.

Multi-level marketing.

You cannot even get a straight answer on a search, because the Primerica folks have the internet covered. But the above Yahoo link is the best I've seen.

CAVEAT: Never pay someone to give you a job.

Primerica , eh. You trolls are particularly tasty with mustard. Maybe a bit of BBQ sauce too. Nevertheless:

Primerica is an MLM. Loads of promises, but less than 2% ever make it to the top. The "interview" you speak of is a ploy to get new recruits.

According to this article, Primerica is struggling:

Nice try, thanks for playing.

All the people proclaiming the virtues of this company neglected to mention their name. Why? So no one could do any research on them and find out things like this: http://www.consumeraffairs.com/employment/primerica.html

I had my second interview yesterday. I just realized I didn't put hardly any info about the company on here last time. Sorry. I've done a lot of research now. They've been in business since 1977. They are innovators in the industry. The BBB rates them A+. They are expanding throughout greater Milwaukee, regionally, and nationally. From the Wauwatosa office they are staffing five offices throughout Milwaukee. They aren't exclusive on one educational background or work experience. They are looking for motivated candidates who are hard working and possess strong people skills. Within the expansion they are looking for representatives, managers, and what I understood to be senior management. With my experience I'm interested in the entry level but am attracted to the growth opportunity. Sorry for the long message. Hope it helps.  By the way, they are listed on NYSE under the symbolPRI.

Their address is 1109 N Mayfair Road, Ste 200 in Wauwatosa. There's a bunch of construction over there on Mayfair. I was late for my interview because of it. They're hiring for five locations in and around Milwaukee.

Just updating after my interview. I met with the Regional Vice President, Betsy. The company has a dynamic history of fighting for the average person. There are two areas they are hiring for: representatives and managers. They're located in Wauwatosa, but are opening offices throughout Milwaukee and Wisconsin as a whole. Hope that helps! I have a follow up next week. I'll post more then.
