Unwanted call, I wasn't on cell or near it at time of call

I used to get calls from this company all the time.  Today was the first one I got in months.  I always press 1, then wait for the operator to answer the phone.  As soon as they do, I put the phone's microphone IN my mouth and scream as loud and as long as I can until they hang up.  It's fun!

I received a call from this number today, and when I called back, It just asked me if I would like to be placed on their "Do Not Call" list. Nothing like the other posts, we'll see if it happens though.

I got a call on my work number....at a LAW FIRM of all places!
No message on my voice mail...it was just dead air.  But, it's still taking up my time & resources just to find out no message was left by this "company".

Received a call from this number on my cell phone.  I believe that this in illegal to be calling cell phones wiht recorded messages.  I did a reverse lookup and found a reference to the number in Milwaukee, WI.  I found a number and contacted the listing of the number and they told me that it was not them but a wholesaller in Cheyenne, WY who is using the number.  They would not give me the user name of the number or a number to call them on, but they are turning it over to their legal department.  There is a lot of upset people on the web about this number.  I am going to look at reporting it to the FCC next.

Call from 414-755-6411 to cellphone at 11:23am.  I didn't answer it and they did not leave a message on voicemail.  I checked here and saw that others are getting unsolicited calls from this number.

I'm registered on the do not call list. But still bothered with tele-marketers on my cell. WTF

Robocall stating, "This is an important announcement fro all homeowners in your area. Press 1 if you would like to hear this important information."

It was a call from Choice One Communications Inc. of WI...seems they are doing some kind of network testing (perhaps voice over IP related). They apparently don't seem to care who they bother.

SPAM message - "This is an important announcement fro all homeowners in your area. Press 1 if you would like to hear this important information."

This number called my personal cell and my company cell today.  First one said it is important message for homeowners, if you are a homeowner press 1 for more information, I hung up.  Then they called my work cell and when I answered, they hung up.

They say they are selling security systems. They want your credit score. They want to collect a $100 deposit.

Got the call on my work cell - stupid of them since I'm a fraud investigator. Checked database resources - 404-755-6411 is a Landline (ONE COMMUNICATIONS)  out of Milwaukee, WI - registered to a business known as CONSUMER CARE. Checked Wisconsin business records - there is a company with same name (Consumer Care LLC) in the medical equipment/supplies industry. Doubt it was them calling. Most likely, from the recording announcement verbiage listed on this site, it is coming from a telemarketing firm solicting for home loans

I received this call on my cell phone at 1:43 pm on June 15th. I didn't answer and they left no message. I only have so many minutes available and I'm not interested in trying to find out why they called. But now that I've seen all your posts, if I have "nothing better to do" this weekend, maybe I'll do some investigating. Hope all have a GREATweekend!

I received a call this morning from 414-755-6411 on my cell number.  A recorded message said something about homeowners in the area and directed me to press #1 to speak to a rep.  I hung up and then decided to call back.  A recorded message directed me to press #1 to be put on their no-call list.

I got the same call on my cell this morning.

They called me and didn't live any message.

I got this call too at 1:37 EST.  Nobody was on the other side of the line.  This company should be made to pay for this harassment.

Received this call twice now, once previously and once today at 4:05PM (6/18/2010). Didn't answer, no voicemail left. Annoying.

where they get my #, only att know my #, and yesterday i emailed my # to a friend.they may hack emails.never got a scammer call befor.

I looked up corp records and found out they are incorp by Gerald Pitts's firm and they are Engage Tel's resident agent.  Call Mr Gerald Pitts phone number at 307-632-3333, ask for Mr Pitts and demanded that your phone never be called again. I suggest all of you call Mr Pitt's office and do the same. Their address is 2710 Thomes Ave., Cheyenne, WY 82001 for one to send legal matters to. I am still looking for a number for Engage Tel. But give Mr Pitts a call, he needs to here about his clients practices.

I found a number and name for Engage Tel Inc. He is not high on the corporate ladder. But he will remove you from the list. Apparently, these telemarketers buy lists of  clients who have opted in with a company, so they can be contacted.

So call Dave with Engage Tel Inc at 415-472-5008. He can remove your number from all his clients lists.
