Complaining on this board does NOTHING besides let others collect information. These calls will not stop simply because you post to some message board (though the information provided by this and other sites IS quite useful.) You NEED to file a complaint with FCC at:

Attempted to call "homeowners in the area with very important information" and to press 1 to here the information.

I got this call before 5 pm today,. and just said F*** Off and pressed END.

Just received a call at 6:58 pm on my cell, didn't recognize the area code so just denied the call.

just called - no message left - I think they called me once before - anyone know the truly effective way to reprot these telemarketer/scammers?

Correction - the number they gave me was 949-486-7598

They called me on my number at my Corporation.  I always hang on to talk to someone to get more info.

They told me their company name was Home Security out of California.  I asked for a number to the main office.  The gave me 949-486-7578.  This number has been suspended.

I hate these idiots.

This is very bad. I wonder how they got my cell phone number. too bad I pressed 1 (as now they know it is a valid cell number and will sell it to others.)

This call was about installing a free alarm system that would protect me against burglars. What a nasty f'g scam......I wonder how many people are sucked into this??

Is there any way this can be stopped? Is there any way the source can be traced and held accountable?

I just got a call too, and verizon reverse phone tells me it's a land line in Milwaukee, WI.  I texted it back and told them to "F OFF" but I got a message saying unable to deliver.

Got a call from 414-755-6415 with an automated reply asking if I wanted to learn of "important information". I went ahead only to get my name removed from the call list, only to struggle with a computer for 5 min. I gave up. DONT ANSWER!

Attempted to sell a home alarm system, claimed I was refered to them and/or asked for them to call with the information. Not a very good lie.

Just got a call on my cell phone with an automated message asking to press 1 if I am a home owner.  Telemarketers are not supposed to call cell phones unless they have express written permission.

Just received a call from this number with "a very important message for homeowners.  If you are a homeowner, press ! to hear this message."  This call came on my cell phone, which is registered on the Do Not Call List.  
I'd like to know the name of the company so I can sue them for calling, but they did not give their name, and I did not press 1.

Didn't pick up, they left no message. Returned call to an immediate prompt stating, 'press 1 to place your number on a do not call list'. Telemarketer!

Received a call today @ 1230. Googled the nuber which led me here. Read that alot of peole answered and pressed one (1). That is a tactic used by these companies to validate the number a as good number. They will then sell your number to othe telemarketers. Do not answer if you don't know who it is and by all means do ot interact with the robo call.

Am sick and tired of getting these calls.  Reporting this number to the FCC and to Verizon.......

Satellite Promotions, just called me from 414-755-6415. I will be reporting them because I am on a do not call list.

Called me too..  Another option is to check your cell phone service and add as a blocked number (some plans have this as a free-be)......

I got one at 11:59 AM today.  Missed call, as I was busy.  It left no message.
When I called back later I got a message asking if I would like to opt-out from future calls, press 1.  I did, and was told it would take 24 hours to remove me from their list.
I called back immediately and was again asked to press 1 to opt out.  I didn't do anything.  It hung up on me within 17 seconds, no messages.

I got a call from this number at 5:05 pm, I didn't answer and they left no message. I called back and it gave me the #1 option, but I didn't press 1. I wish these robot's would quit calling me. I wouldn't cut down one of my trees for the dish if they gave me the entire company.

They called saying something about "Important information about homeowners in the area" I pressed one just in case there was something important. Obviously there was not. I have a feeling that there is a data base checking which people press one and which do not.

Yes, my boyfriend just got a call on his cell phone showing that phone number but didn't answer it.

I hate these calls, they are annoying and waste my minutes!

I just received this phone on my personal cell, as well. No one has this number except 3 people and it is only used for emergencies. I called back to add my number to their do not call list. Perhaps this was a mistake. I'll post again if this becomes a problem. I do not subscribe to any paid television OF ANY KIND and these folks do not have jurisdiction over my area. We are about 1500 miles from Wisconsin!! Good luck to you all and thank you for caring enough to post. Perhaps if enough complaints are documented, it help to will stop this nonsense. I do not appreciate having to pay for inbound calls on a phone that I VIRTUALLY NEVER use. This does not constitute an emergency.

Got this call today. Called back got msg. They tried to interupt the call I was on. This needs to stop.

Got one at 1:35 on my cell phone number, which isn't listed anywhere and only a handful of friends have it. I strongly recommend not calling back to get on their do not call list ... they will not honor it (I promise you they don't care) and it lets them know that their random dialing connected them to a live person at an active number.

Been getting a call every day (sometimes up to 3 times) for the last 6mths to a year.. never once pressing 1. This is b-s.
