I have been getting threatening calls too. I have now hired a lawyer he has told me to get in touch with the Attorney General in your area or the state it is from. Hope this helps.

Continually getting calls from this number telling me that I have an unpaid payday loan and threatens to have me arrested at my place of employment or my home address at 11am the following day.  I have been waiting for a couple of months for this so called arrest to happen.  According to some extensive research they cannot arrest anyone for unpaid payday loans and threatening to do so goes against the FDCPA so I don't expect that to ever happen since they can't even tell me a date of when I supposedly took out the loan all they tell me is to look in my email.

It's someone calling as part of an internet scam. They are going to say that you owe money and that you'll need to pay or they will take legal action against you. I had to file a police report because they have compromised all of my personal information.

i got this call as well that i have a law suit on my social and that i would be arrested at my job tomorrow if i didn't make some kind of payment arrangement. it is funny how people think you are so dumb

I got this call two days after i told US pay day loans i did not want there loan and pay day loans of American
they will call you and tell you that you have been approved for a $5000.00 loan and if you tel them no you do not want it two to three day's later you wll get a call telling you the you are being sued

i just got a call from this number 414-831-7998 telling me there was a law suit on my socal sec number this is the 2nd time i got this call after I told themi did not want there loan.

Got a call at work today.  Danny Watson.  I have a legal afadavid against my name and ssn.  I will be arrested if I dont pay for a payday loan that I never got.  They wanted to talk to my attorney.  I called the number back and it was an international line.  The same international number called back and I answered it; it was Danny Watson.  I'm going to file complaints with the FTC federal office and state office.  Read other stories that sounded like mine on the internet.  

They want your bank account number.  Don't give it to them.

I, too, received a call from this number (Mark Johnson). How many people in America with a "Johnson" last name that have HEAVY accents? None that I know of. It's sad that we live in a world/society where there are folk who are actually this "money-hungry" who would stoop this low. Hmm, I have an idea. Get a real job and actually EARN your money. LoL

these people just called me tell me im being sued because of a loan i didnt pay back. they said i will be arrested at my job and held for 15 to 20 days. i dont know if this is real beacuse i did take out a loan but i paid it back. reading all of you guys stories i see im not alone. i called the USA cash loan because they said thats who sueing me the lady that picked up told me she been getting calls like this for years but that its a scam and not to worry. this is real sad that people would do this i know i paid back the loan have my bank statements to prove it. i pray nothing come of this beacuse im not trying to go to jail for this

Calls all hours finally reported the number to the police the number called
Again I told a gentleman who spoke little English
I said he have been reported to the police he said "so what"
And hung up

Just an update.....I looked up the name that was on my caller ID (Bob Locksmith) that came with the number and this is what it said.  7135 W. Center St., Oak Creek, WI 53154.....The category it was in said that it was Lock & Locksmiths, Flooring.   Here is the websiteI looked under if anyone would like to see it  http://radarfrog.gatehousemedia.com/Oak-Creek-WI/Bob-Locksmith-B140058050/ .  I really don't think I owe money to a locksmith in WI.....does anyone else??  These people must think I am stupid or something if they think I wouldn't investigate this further!!!

I rec'd a call from a Clyde Walker and he left a message that I was to call him immeditaly or I will regret it.  He said if I didn't call him then all he could say is "good luck in what comes to you" and "I better have a good attorney".  He told me to have my attorney call him.  This is the second time someone has called me like this.  The first time it was from a Texas number now it's a Milwaukee number.  The first one I told him I contacted the FBI and my local police about him and not to call again.....he never called back.  This is getting very irritating!!

Next time tell them that you are going to call the cops because that is harassment.

I started receiving calls from this number yesterday claiming i had lawsuits against me and if i didnt pay back the whole $791.23 by that day, which was yesterday, i would be arrested. This really scared me but I never signed nor received any loan. The people also had very thick accents and had my correct info but i have done forms online so its not surprising they have my info. but to try to clear things up i ask a lady name Jennifer Smith to call me once i got off work but in the mean time becoming suspecious i came across others complaining and experiencing the same situation so I felt it was a scam. & I never got a loan anyway so once she called back(about 4x in a row) i didnt answer she left a message saying you didnt pay the money so we will go forth with legal procedures. she then called right back and i answered trying to confront and get a better understanding she got very rude saying you want to play games and then hung up. About 5 mins later a 911 number appears on my phone and claims to be an officer Conway. He ask for my fax number to fax me my arrest warrants. I start to believe this is actually real but also knowing I never signed nor received a loan I begin asking questions while checking all transactions to my account. I ask him when was the deposit suppose to be made he didnt know, I ask him to send me documentation he said   he could email them I told him i wanted them mailed and he couldnt do that. Now he's claiming they will hold off on my arrest warrant until this evening if I agree to make a payment arrangment. I know I havnt done anything wrong but Who are these people?? Has anyone else solved this issue

Rosa, that's the same guy who called me and when I said I couldn't understand him, he put another guy on the line who spoke perfect english and rude as he could be.  They were just trying to scare me and they did breifly until I realized it was a scam

Just got a nasty phone call from a Sheldon I have no clue but boy was his language nasty he didn't speak good english but his foul language was clear enough. I have no clue what is going on???

I received a call from someone named Sheldon from this number and was left a message that I would be arrested today for defaulting on a cash loan I know nothing about.  He said to enjoy my time in jail and he hoped I had a good attorney.  I called back this morning to at least get the name of the law firm he was supposably calling from just to be told a subpoena and an arrest warrent had been issued for me and do not call there again.  They had my social, work and cell number and that makes me very nervous.  They will not take my calls now.  The number they call from comes up Switzerland and then sometimes Milwaukee so I don't know where they are.

these people called me and said that I owed 8,000 an i was going to jail need this stoped.

I got a message from someone named Mike Anderson that claimed I would be sued for fees relating to a loan application that I filed but did not accept the loan.  He said that if I paid the loan fee and took the loan the law suit would go away.  I was scared and did not have the funds to pay the fee, I tried to borrow the money but was unable to and I got a call from someone named Steven Morgan who said I would be sued and arrested within 24 hours.
I called back to get the name of the "law firm" and he would not tell me, nor would he tell me the name of the company bringing the supposed law suit.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

This number calls the business at least 15 times a day. The person calling is difficult to understand due to his poor grasp of the english language.  We requested they stop calling and were called nasty names...in much better english...and then proceeded to call 5 more times in a 2 minute period. These people are unbelievable!

It's a debt collector.
