I kept getting calls from this Nick Jones, I called the Attorney Generals office to file a complaint.
The lady I spoke to told me that it was a scam and for me not to surrender any information.
Well the phone calls persisted and I reported the number to the federal trade commission.
There seems to be nothing you can do , I keep getting the calls. I started having fun with the caller.
The check is in the mail.

This company called me and said an email account I haven't used for over 10 years was used to commit banking fraud.  They said that money was transfered into my account (which it wasn't).  This is a total fraud.  They didn't answer any questions when I asked them, they just got beligerant.

Got the same phone call at my job and they said the same thing that the said previously.  I think they are using a script.  Totally bogus!  Do not give out any information and for God's Sake don't give them any account numbers.

I get a call from these people all the, they call from 650-288-0525. These people are total scams, they call my job like every hour, so I started calling them back. They get upset and it is so funny. A Alex Brown called first and then a Kevin Thompson called. I called Kevin and he said I couldn't speak with Alex because he was a paralegal, so I asked "Are you sure you guys aren't the same people.?" He kept hanging up in my face and I kept calling back. It's funny how they want to keep calling, byt after you start calling them they disappear. How can they call themselves "American" if they barely speak english. No offense to anyone but them.

just go to 800 notes and you will read about ten different numbers about heavy indian accent with American names calling people about a bogus pay day loan.DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BANKING INFO OR ANY MONIES.

I think you are right brother in past i took a lot of payday loans and i never paid them i thout no one can do nothing to me but I got call from this nick jones he gave line to his senior affidater  who has all the info of every loan i took in past how?? That's next to immposible then i heard him carfully and i realised how bad i'm who is doing froud with my own country nick jones yeld to me when i lied to him that i never recieved any loan he said you froud are worst then OSAMA doing froud with our own country is also a terrerist deed. Chad you are thinking that you paid them as a charity no try to remember that you also had unpaid loans.. Dont mind..

My frnd ronny once said  abt this he also got clls from the same no. But he once abuse them badly that guy told ronny to pay his loan which he took in past but never bothered to pay back they even know abt his email id, job place,ssn and other information but ronny didn't take it seriously and he had to pay in huge.. So just last weak i got cll from same number and they asked for 880.37 $ which I paid to them without asking anything and now they stoped clling me. Sorry u people but i want to live my life without mess.

I was told the same thing. When the money that was taken from my account due to a "loan" that I needed to pay back i just contacted my bank account. All I can do is just advise you to me more aware of whom you are speaking and giving info to.

I was just scammed out of $385 dollars from this number. A "Kevin Thompson" contacted me about a loan that I supposely made last year and demanded that I pay the loan back and threatened to take me to court. What made this so real was that they had the last 4 digits of my social!!!!! This is such a scary thing and everyone PLEASE be aware of this!!!! Do not give anyone your information, JUST HANG UP!!! This seems to be the new scam, whatever you do on the internet please be careful because all of your info can be leaked!!

I have gotten calls from these guys since last Sept, all with different names, all from different or private numbers. Well yesterday I got another call from 650-288-0525 from "Nick Jones" and then a call today from 415-226-1506 also from Nick Jones. I usually blow them off but this time he had the last 4 digits of my social security number!!!!!! I don't know what to do. I've contacted a police officer in my city but there doesn't seem to be much he can do. Does anyone have any advice?

I received a call from Steve Matt at my place of employment.  They told my work place (which is against the law) that they were going to file a lawsuit against me.  I have no lawsiut whatsoever!  When I call the number back it was bussied.  This is totally a scam.

Ignore it. I have been getting these calls for 2 years from John Smith and every other american name they can come up with.

I keep getting calls from this person as well, it stopped for a lil while but it has since resumed, i am getting a lil worried and want to know what to do to stop it. Can someone verify if this person is someone I need to worry about !!  or should I just ignore it ?

They called me too.  They said that I solicited funds from an email account that I haven't used for over 10 years to have money transfered into my bank account (which of course no money ever was).  When I asked them for their attorney licence number the guys became beligerant and said that I was the fraud not him and he wouldn't give me any information.  This is just silly

im getting the same calls and when i call them back i tell them i dont owe anything and try to talk to them more and they hang up

i getting call each days and i can't understand him and i tell him one time send me the bill and only yesterday i get phone call each two hours.

I receive a call from these phone number at  my job, and they told my employer that they were goin to sue me and take me to court for a dept that i owed them, but I dont owed noone I think they are scams
