My cell phone indicates that I have dialed this number three times--- 12/4/2011 @ 7:40 am, 12/12/2011 @ 1:38 pm, & 1/05/2012 @ 5:42 pm.  I do not know who this number is, and I have not called this it.  I am on the Do-not Call List.

This is so strange.  I too show a call to 415 244 1012 yesterday (Thursday, 28 February 2008).  I'm quite certain I did not make this call.  I am very confused.

this is the number cingular used to use for dial up data on cell phones.  It should not be used anymore since GPRS/EDGE/3G are used.

This number also registered that I made a call to this number.  That's strange coz I didn't make any calls...worst, it's an international call for me.

This number continues to call my mother stating to, "she needs to call this number its important." But when we call it is like a fax machine.

I do not know anyone in San Fransico. CA. When I called it back it was a fax machine. I was at work and did not make this call.

This number keeps appearing on my cell phone. But when I dial this number it rings as busy all the time. I would like to take it off my cell phone. I have recently had problems with my cell & want to correct any errors I feel don't belong to my service. This is not a number I want, I am not familiar with this number and I want it deleted forever. It is not allowing me to delete on my own. I am NOT happy!

Checked one of my staff's mobile/cell phone bills and it had told me that he had dialled this number numerous times for around under a minute every day for around a month! This is ridiculous as these calls were made from Australia to the US <quite expensive> and were made int he middle of the night when he was sleeping! I have asked the Australian Telco to explain/re-imburse

I get this number calling me also, I do not answer any number I do not know from my address book, then go to a land line, and it wrings busy.
If I could reach out and touch someone, It would be with a fist in the nose of who ever calls my phone, It is on the do not call list.

Hi, I just got my cell phone bill. It shows I called this number, 415-244-1012 from my cell phone. But I'm sure I didn't. Did you ever get anywhere with this issue?

The number 415-244-1012 mysteriously appeared in my dial out list 12.21.2007  4:04PM.

It is WAP via GSM. in fact it's like a dial up internet for mobiles. It means your phone comes from the CINGULAR network, with the number 1-415-244-1012 preset for the WAP via GSM. if you are not a CINGULAR subscriber and you have a phone that makes you problems like this, I strongly suggest that you take your phone to a cell phone service,   or even better change your phone.

I have similar story w/weird twist.  I woke up startled at 2:22 am pacific time and my phone would not stop vibrating.  I have an OLD Nokia, so I figured it was probably ready to die and it took me a few moments to think about pulling the battery and going back to bed.  Out of curiosity I replaced the battery 15/30 seconds later and the phone did not continue vibrating and works just fine ? then upon investigation, I discovered this ?415? number on my outgoing and this website?
Glad to hear that the 415 conundrum has a solution ? but has anyone experienced actual phone wigging out??

my friend lives in the philippines and this number keeps on showing up on their monthly phone bill. she wants to know the address of this number. i tried to call this  number earlier but it was a fax machine. it's very annoying.

4 outgoing calls on our cell phone to this number in the past month.  we have not made any of these calls.

The 1-415-244-1012 Number is not a fax number but the connection number for At&Ts Media net connection. your phone is dialing the internet.  pending on your phone your settings may be diffirent but usualy it would be under connection and there will be options to manage the connection and turn off the internet dialing. you may want to call your carrier to ask how to disable it.

I also received this phone number on my cell phone as if i had called that number. When i checked my Dialed numbers on my cell, 415-244-1012 appeared. The call was supposedly made on 2/8/09 at 2:06 am. I know no one in that area code and i call no one that late at night. I have AT&T.

According to my cell provider, I call # 415-244-1012 2 days for the whole day and I spent 600 minutes. My cell provider is blaming on me and my cell was off during those 2 days. My provider is t-mobile. Who is your provider. I am trying to run an investigation

OK. After reading, it's an ISP number. I guess it's a sneaky way that cell phone companies making money for charging customers. I believe you can call them and put a block internet service access to you phone line(s) then they can not charge you for it.

Keeps calling my son's number, and when we call back it goes into voicemail.  then calls again when we are not able to answer the phone, and leaves no message.

took up 201 mins of my wife phone from 6-26-08 thru 7-25-08 mad her go over her mins now its going to cost me 300 dollars for some bull and how do we stop it
