They use these scams to have reasons to send checks to people. If you receive a check they will probably give you instructions to forward some of it to supposedly pay for more costs.... Do Not Cash any check from them as you can actually find yourself in trouble for participating in Money laundering/Fraud etc...

Thanks Kiwi.Once I read your comments and before they could send the chq.I replied their mail that I have googled your phone number and came to know that it is a fraud.But 4 days after without making a mention they mention that chq is on way.They have no idea that they are talking to an investigator.

Attached to a suspicious email supposedly offering a "driving job" for the spouse of a "Barrister jeffrey Gila"...

The severely broken english definitely does not represent a true Law/Legal Professional in the United States/Washington as the USA don't commonly use the term "Barrister" anyway. It's more of a British/Commonwealth term.
Also the fact that in the ads and emails the person so strongly emphasizes the fact he's a Barrister is just random and suspicious...

I found his ad for a driving job on Kijiji (Canada = Toronto,ON). The broken english in the ad made me suspicious and a couple of weeks after applying I received and email that pretty much guarantees that this is a Nigerian/Uganda style internet fraud scam of some kind. Anyone who's dealt with these scams will see what I mean.  I've recently experienced another similar scam = read the link for more info...
