Called me three times at my job, only left a message once, the other times just hung up. Imaging playing on a companies phone line.

Repeated calls, no messages, on my cell phone.

I got two calls from this number, they called and then hung up. When I called back, it rang once, and then there was nothing.

12/15/11 - looks like we have ANOTHER telemarketing number.  If calligraphy on ur cell store it in your phonebook as telemarketer so you don't answer it again.  I have roughly 12 numbers stored this way.  Boycott these companies products and services.

I received a call from this number and it was the Contra Costa Times. This is a newspaper company.

I was formerly their subscriber, and they were calling to offer me a free trial of the Sunday edition for four weeks (no obligation).  So I don't mind getting a call like that "once in a while" (although of course not every day!), and because we have a past business relationship, this call is exempt from the Do Not Call list.

But,  If they do call too often, and you don't want them to call you anymore, I suggest that you answer the call and simply ask to be removed from their marketing lists.  They seemed pleasant enough when I talked to them.   Or, you could just block their number (I have Comcast Digital Voice, and will use the call blocking feature if I have to, like if I ask someone to stop calling and they don't).

I called the publisher of the IJ and left a message. Then I got a call from the News Corp that handles their subscription service. 925-302-1703 is the number of the boss man who called. Told me that I am finally on the do not call list. Call this guy if you want the calls to stop. If you just want to complain, then go ahead, but here is a solution.

Finally got someone on the other end. It was the Marin IJ.

same story as the others. this number has been calling me for 3 days and when I answer there is no one on the line. Except for one minute ago. I answered and it was the MARIN IJ or a contracting company. You might want to contact the MARIN IJ  and complain.

Three calls from this number today.  What is this??

calls came in at 11:26am; 5:33pm; 6:51pm today.  When I answer it is dead, no message left if I ignore the call.

Multiple calls from this number and then it hangs up after i ask "hello?".... Very irritating...

I have received several calls today from this number - no one on line, then i speak & then it hangs up...WTF....

Why does this number keep calling and not leave messages?  Looks local , but I don't know who it is
