Got a call from this number today.  The caller ID said "Service Provider".  I knew it was BS, so I answered in my best professional business voice, "San Francisco Police Department, what is your emergency?"  They hung up FAST.  I usually don't answer unknown calls, but I was bored enough to want to mess with them.

I received a call from this number on my cell phone. They left a blank voice mail.

They called... asked to speak with (pooly pronouced) MyFirstName... after asking who was calling (twice, once for the guy to say Mark and a second time to hear the fake company name) then I said yes... he then went on to ask for a different MyLastName and Company... I told him (with a grin) that he had in Fact connected with his desired party... he started to tell me about some BS calling plan.. so I told him to take a hike and hung up... he was about to do do the same...   They just want to verify your name and last name for a calling list...

Got a call from this number asking for one of my friends by first and last name. I told the caller he was not available right now. The caller then asked who I was. I told him "you're the one who called me. Who are you?" He then hung up.

I then called the number back and it was answered "service department" I said what type of service department. he said "Locksmith" I said " really, right, Not buying that" and then hung up on them. Its high time everyone organize a dos attack on this number. Only instead of everyone connecting to a certain IP with a acomputer to tie it up, every one should keep calling them at the same time to tie them up.

Calls, then when I answer, I hear music playing. No one talks. Just music playing in background. It stays connected for a while even after I hang up. Can't someone report this to Pac Bell for harrassment?

Have had many calls from this #....just added to my reject list...no more calls!

Do not know who this is. No message, no one speaks to me on other end.

Was asked to listen to a 5 minute pictch about a website business, after the recording finished a different person was online who tried to get me to commit to this business. When I stated I would look at their Website but would not make any commitment on the phone they hungup on me.

I just got a call from this number at 11:00PM tonight. I answered it but there was only dead air. Then an automated voice just said goodbye. I called the number back and got another automated message pretty much giving me the runaround.

Got a call from 415-329-0834 (caller ID said "Unknown Name").  When I said "hello," there was a pause for a few seconds and then a woman came on and asked for me by my first name.  When I said "speaking," she said she was from Social Business Referrals. I asked who that was.  She said she was calling because I had expressed an interest in a home based business.  I told her "You haven't answered my question - Where are you located?"  She responded that she was in Scottsdale, Arizona. I then asked how she got my name.   She said "I told you - you indicated an interest in a home based business."  I asked her where she got that information from.  She said "You must have filled out something that expressed an interest in a home based business."  I told her I never filled out any such thing and she hung up on me.  I find it interesting that this telephone number is shown as being in the San Francisco, California, area but my caller was located in Arizona.

I get calls daily from this number. I pick up and do not hear anyone on the other side. When I do not pick up, there is no voicemail. It is great because I am on the National Do Not Call List. So much for the Do Not Call Lists.  This is also a call to my business phone. My phone say's Corte Madera , California.
This is very annoying.

Have been getting calls from this number on my cell for a couple weeks. I don't answer because I don't recognize it. No message is left. Thanks to those who have answered and satisfied my curiosity!

pick up, no one talks

I have been getting calls from this number several times a day. When I answer they hang up within 2-3 seconds. I am so over this.

Same thing happened to me, well almost. Guy on the phone stated that he has my name, SSN, D.O.B, and address. He stated his speech about working from home, said he was from Amazon.com. I told him I was not interested. I work for LifeLock, so I know when a scam is happening. This is a SCAM. Also the number is not able to be called back. Call 888-382-1222 to be placed on the Do Not Call list.

I keep receiving calls from (415) 329-0834, a number based in California.
I've called back several times and get an answering machine asking me to leave a message.
No company name, no person's name
I want the calls to stop.

Revived a call from this number several times.  Either no one answers or hang up when I answer.  Very annoying.

I received two calls today back to back on different lines stating they were calling for someone with my company on behave of someone else. They have called me everyday this week!!!!!

I've gotten three calls a day from them for the last three days. I tried answering a couple times, wasn't able to talk to them. I researched them on the internet found this site. This last time I got a call there was no one there initially and fed up I just said stop calling me. A woman responded with "you don't know who you're yelling at do you." Then promptly hung up before I could say anything. Even IF it is a legitimate business, that's an extremely unprofessional way of handling the situation. Wish I could figure out who it is.

This is a new # calling my house. Comes up unknown name on my caller ID. They hold on but don't leave a message. If you can't leave a message don't call. Annoying. I am keeping a log of all these calls and the time they call. Thinking of SUING.

Twice a day I get a call from this number and they don't leave a voicemail

Got a call from 415-329-0834 - the guy calling said he was Marc Stone from Social Business Affiliates in Corte Madera Calif.  

Said he was recruiting people to "Work from home" as Affiliates with Amazon.com etc.

When I told him I did not have a credit card to pay for the "Start-Up" Fee of $195 - he hung up the phone.

Sounds like scam-bags to me

Called to ask for interest in making money at home.  Identified himself as Rick Watson from Amazon. Upon many instructions not to call again he said, "You're Stupid".  Tried calling back to talk to a supervisor - the extension was unavailable and there were no other options provided to speak to someone else.

I get at least 2 calls per day from this phone number, 415-329-0834.  It shows UNKNOWN on my cellphone so I don't pick up. If it is an important phone call, they should leave a message. It is just annoying for them to keep calling because I use my phone for business. They should be stopped!
